Dumb human. He was stupid. So stupid. Why did his beast have to interfere with things that weren't his fucking problem? The woman was driving him crazy. He refused to question the girl again. He didn't want her having the satisfaction of knowing something he didn't. The damned human had been a lot closer when he gained control and she had a look of admiration on her face. He was disgusted by it. He didn"t think she realized what the hell she was actually dealing with. She smiles and giggles like it is all a game. Its not. This was his life; was who he had always been. He is hunted. He is the hunter. He feared no one while he was feared worldwide. He is superior. He is a monster.
He gritted his teeth together. He had to get rid of her. Obviously, he couldn't kill her. Stupid beast. Since when could the creature take control of him? He was the beast. At least that was what he always thought. It was as if he just disappeared. Blacked out. It was something he refused to allow to happen again.
He knew her name was Natalie Grace, but refused to call her that. He found her purse while she was sleeping. She probably dropped it in the midst of getting attacked. He had all of her info, address included. He had found her phone and quickly disposed of it not wanting to leave a trace of evidence behind. They needed to leave. Now. He couldn't have anyone coming and searching the area for her. A report of her missing had to of already been filed. Cole would be the first person they looked to. He obviously couldn't tell them that he brought her out here to kill her but they could try tracking the phone.
He was smart when it came to hiding. He had been held captive before and didn't really revel in the idea of going back. He didn't know how he came to be and honestly didn't care. He had came to the conclusion quickly that staying hidden was the best option. Seclusion was what kept him alive.
He needs to be able to free the beast. He can't be around people for too long. So far, Natalie had been the only exception and he had no fucking clue why.
"Time to go." He groaned.
"How are we getting there?" She asked cheekily.
He replaced his scowl with an evil smirk and almost smiled in satisfaction at seeing her eyes widen. "We fly."
She took a quick step back as her eyes managed to widen further. For the first time she wasn't smiling. She appeared scared. He watched as a shiver racked through her body. He couldn't hold back the smile that covered his face. He was loving this new predicament. He was reveling in the waves of fear that rolled off her. "No." She stated firmly.
"Yes." He hissed back. There was no other way.
"I..I can't." She stuttered all the while trying to get away from him. He watched as she looked back and forth, looking for an escape.
He felt the beast pull through him and growled. Now was not the time. What was the issue?
"I. Dont. Care." He made sure to pause between each word emphasizing his meaning of them.
Her body trembled all over. She was afraid to fly... interesting. He saw her intention before she had a chance to move. She turned to bolt but he was quicker. He wrapped his arms around her, bent his knees and then busted through the hole he made just hours earlier. He had to fly high enough where he wouldn't be spotted by humans but low enough not to show up on any radars.
Natalie screamed, making him cringe in pain. He would have to get used to that if this was going to work at all. He bet she could make his ears bleed with the pair of lungs she had. If only he could rip them out. He felt the beast growl, and didn't care. Hed find a way.
After a few minutes, she quit screaming and resorted to sobbing. He scoffed. The human was weak. He had always known they were.
The flight wasn't long. An hour tops and the human hadn't quit crying for a second of it. The house they were going to belonged to him. No one knew anything about him so he couldn't be tracked. Fake names always came in handy and nowadays you didn't have to show up in person to buy anything. The house was also in the middle of nowhere. If you didn't know where it was, you'd never find it, dense trees made sure of that. It was just a simple one story cabin with three rooms and two bathrooms. It had the necessities with all the needed appliances. Nothing special, just a place to hide. The area was nice though. It gave him comfort in the fact that he wouldn't have to risk being found.
He gently landed on the ground, not wanting to ruin the foundation of the house. The woman basically had her nails embedded into his shoulders and his chest was soaking wet from her fucking tears. He tried pulling her off of him, but she just latched on tighter.
Maybe he could kill her before his beast took full control again. He reached his hand towards her neck, wanting to strangle the life out of her, when a hiss escaped his mouth involuntary. He barely heard Natalie's intake of breath before everything disappeared once again.
