Austin woke up with a groan. What time was it? He went to move but soon realized that something was on top of him. Looking down, he let out a ferocious growl. The human was sleeping on top of him. He quickly shoved her off, sending her rolling to the floor.
"Aaah!" The woman screamed before sitting up with hate filled eyes.
"What did you do that for?" Natalie asked, pulling herself up from the floor as she rubbed her head.
"What the hell were you doing sleeping with me?" He seethed, pissed. First, his fucking beast took over again, and then he wakes up not only next to her, but with her cuddling him. He shivered, disgusted. "What happened last night?" He growled again. He was losing time, losing memories. He was losing himself. He shook his head. Now, more than ever, he thought of murder. Cold blooded murder.
He closed his eyes a moment, and pushed his beast down. His mouth stayed clamped shut, knowing if it wasnt, the beast would've growled at him.
Blood. He could see it everywhere. He smiled as he pushed the beast down once more.
Natalie thought for a moment as her nose wiggled. "I dont know. I fell asleep from crying before I even made it into the house." He studied her face looking for a lie. He hadn't known her long enough to see if she had any tell-tale signs when she wasn't telling the truth. He growled again.
"It wont happen again, do you understand?"
She simply smiled and nodded. Why was the woman always so chipper?
"What am I going to about clothes?" She whispered almost to herself as she looked down at her dirty clothes. He studied her for a moment before he sighed.
"I'm going to let you go into a town thats nearby and get the necessities. I will give you cash because you don't have any. I destroyed your credit cards back at the warehouse because they can be tracked. We are far enough away that you shouldn't be recognized." He lied about destroying her cards. But she didn't need to know that. He didn't know why he kept them. He didn't plan on letting her go. Ever. He would never be able to trust her. He was probably already in danger because of the Cole fellow. A huge smile overtook her face and she started jumping up and down, clapping.
"Yaaay!"
"Why are you so excited?" He asked dumbfounded.
"I get to shop! Never really been a shopper before but I feel dirty in these clothes. I haven't showered."
He nodded, it was understandable. Thankfully the rain had stopped before he flew her here. Still, he felt disgusting himself. He hadn't been able to shower since he had gotten soaking wet. A damn cat! He knew he had to smell like the nasty animals. "If someone talks to you, be nice, and then leave. I have very good hearing. If I hear you say one thing you shouldn't, then you will be dead before anyone would even know what happened. Do I make myself clear?" He felt his beast start to rise and knew his eyes flashed colors. 'Stop, you stupid monster!' He thought to himself.
He watched Natalies expression slide into a knowing smirk. She seemed to be mocking him.
"I said, do you understand?"
She smiled and gave him a nod. "What about food? Im starving!" Right on cue, her stomach growled. She quickly wrapped her arms around it as a red blush creeped up her cheeks.
"You buy that as well. Whatever works, Ill eat anything."
"Okay, when do we leave?" She was almost jumping with excitement.
"Now."
She followed behind him quietly but he could almost feel her enjoyment rolling off her in waves. They were almost around to the back of the house when she jumped in front of him, stopping him in his tracks.
