She heard door shut and jolted awake. "Ugh." She groaned rubbing her temples. She had a raging migraine. She slowly opened her eyes. They grew wide when she realized where she was. She was in her home. How was that possible? She thought for a moment. The last thing she remembered was having dinner with Austin. She remembered smiling at him, about to thank him for dinner when all of a sudden she felt dizzy. Loopy

"Oh.. No.. He.." She swears He woudn't He drugged her! She threw the covers off her and marched her way through her house. She was mad. No. Livid! He actually drugged her. She threw open every door in her house and then ran outside. He was gone.

'Okay, Natalie. Think rational here!' She thought to herself as she sat down on the couch. Maybe it was all a dream! The house was exactly how she left it and she did have a wild imagination at times. Of course there couldn't be a creature such as himself that existed. It was impossible. She had to of made it all up. She breathed a sigh of relief. Turning to the right, she froze. Her picture. It was gone. She never moved anything in the house. She liked it just the way it was. Where was it?

She got up and cheked the whole house. Nothing else was missing besides the picture. She always kept the picture there to remind herself to always stay happy. That a smile can always turn someones day around. She had to be going crazy! Laying out on the couch, she turned the news on. Looking at the top left hand corner, she jumped up. The date. It was March 5th. That couldn't be right. If it had all been a dream that would make it March 1st. She quickly grabbed her jacket and keys from the counter. Getting in her car, she rushed to the closest store and bought a newspaper. Front page were two main headlines. One was Cole, who was found diead in his apartment, suicide. Then a missing person picture. Her.

"Holy shit!" Her breathing picked up and she tried not to hyperbentilate. It was real. Everything had been real.. she remembered the bruise on her arm and ripped her jacket off. All the proof she needed there in the shape of a hand.

When she got back to her house, she threw her keys on the counter and then sunk into the couch. She rested her head in between her knees and took deep breaths. Her mind was going 100 miles per house. Why did Austin bring her back home? He had said she was too much of a risk. Did he know about what happened to Cole? Was that why he thought it was okay, because no one would believe her?

Oh God. She was a missing person. What was she going to tell the police? She just couldn't go back to her regular life. They would have questions and would want answers. Answers she didn't have.

Did she annoy Austin so muh that he couldn't get rid of her fast enough? His beast wouldn't let anything bad happen to her, so instead he just dumped her back home? Did he expect her to just forget about him? How could she do that? She had grown to like and enjoy his company.

Wait. She paused. Shouldn't she be jumping for joy? She got her freedom back. She had been crying yesterday about how she would never have it again. What was wrong with her? She couldn't wait to see her mother again!

First on her list was to call the police and let her know that she was alive and hasnt been kidnapped. Technically, she had been captured but she hadn't put up much of a fight.

She decided not to call the station and just showed up. The whole drive there she went over every part of the story she thought of.

"Natalie Grace?" A males voice called from the other side of the room. She nodded, and walked towards him.

"Where have you been? There has been a missing report on you for 4 days, and yesterday your boyfriend turns up dead from hanging. You need to come with me." His voice was firm and she knew she would have to watch her every word. If one thing sounded off to the officer she was going to be in big trouble.
