A loud scream rattled the windows and sent him shooting out of bed. His eyes scrunched together at the fact that his beast didn't take control. Hmmm, he'd have to think on that. He rushed into Natalie's room to see she was still asleep, but thrashing around. She was muttering to herself, but he couldn't quite understand what.
He kept looking down at her as his mind began to wonder. This was who he was. She was having a nightmare and his only care was that she had woken him up. He didn't particularly care what she was dreaming about. She started to scream again and all he could do was cover his ears. He was truly a monster.
She screamed again while muttering "no" and "please, over and over again. He started to get a little curious about what she was dreaming about but figured it was probably over the Cole ordeal. Humans were sensitive to that sort of thing. Just another thing that made them weak. He wouldn't ask anyhow, she'd take it for him caring. He stomped his way to her bed, grabbing her by her shoulders. He had every intention on waking her up so he could finish getting some sleep. She surprised him when she jumped into his arms, crying. Little thing was like a damn monkey. He grabbed her shoulders again and tried to pull her off. She just latched on tighter. "Damn it!" He growled loud and was horribly surprised when she calmed down a bit. "You've got to be fucking kidding me!" The woman was a freak, and the damned freak wasn't letting go!
She was still sobbing into his shoulder and trembling but she was no longer screaming or yelling. "Great. Just fucking fabulous." The only way he was getting any sleep was with her. Mother fucker. He would not be doing this every night. He had already woken up twice beside her not knowing how he got here. Stupid beast. "Why cant I get rid of her again?" He thought to his beast. The only response he got was a hiss. "You're smart enough to make me hiss and growl involuntary, but you cant make me fucking talk?" A growl escaped again. "Well, fuck you!"
He looked down and was yet again surprised when he found her completely asleep. She had fully relaxed. Her hands lightly rested on his shoulders, her nails no longer digging into his skin. Her head was rested on his shoulder, her legs were loosely wrapped around him. He realized that she was no longer holding onto him, but instead, he was holding her. Fuck. While he was talking to himself, he hadn't been paying attention. He decided to gently lay her down but she clutched onto his shirt, not letting go. Great. He scooted her over and laid down beside her. He studied her face after she scooted close enough to make herself happy. She seemed so peaceful. There was no smile on her face and for that, he was glad. She smiled too damn much. If anything, now she looked more natural. Relaxed. He was too sleepy to realize he was starting. She was a beauty that was for sure. When he had walked in on her changing, he had to remind himself to breathe. With his condition he had never seen a woman not fully clothes. He was always hiding away in a secure environment. No windows most of the time either. When he was in close proximity of humans, he wanted to kill them.
He was actually surprised that he did so well when Natalie had went into town. She was the only thing he had focused on though. She was the only one his beast didn't want to kill. He did, of course. She was annoying as hell. Plus, she was extra weight. Someone else he had to look after. Someone he had to make sure didn't slip about knowing him. This was all new to him, and he didn't like it one bit.
She was beautiful but he hated her. She was always happy and it pissed him off. Obviously her life was so damn perfect that he had every reason to smile and laugh. He was almost positive that she thought he was a joke.
She had taken him back when she snapped at him over the car accident. She had lied about everything. He knew that. She had thought too much about what she was going to say for it not to be a lie. But, he didn't honestly care to know the full story. His car was totaled, and that ticked him off. It was the only one he had. Yeah, he could buy another, but what was the point if she was just going to wreck it again. He growled, stupid human.
