Her life turned to normal pretty quickly. She learned to move on, or at least looked like she had. She had went to Coles funeral, needing to say goodbye to that part of her life and everything that came with it. She hadn't shed a tear. She realized that she had never been in love with him as a man, but with the illusion of him; with the illusion of everything she thought she wanted. Cole hadn't been it. She mourned for who she thought he had been. She had her story memorized from having told it so many times. When her best friend, Sarah, had bombarded her in her own home, she lost it. She had cried to her while telling her a story that wasn't real. Wanting with all of her being to tell the truth. Wanting comfort and advice on what no one knew but herself and Austin. Her dreams had started playing tricks on her so she was barely getting any sleep. Her mother had offred to take her to the doctor for sleeping pills, she complied. She couldn't keep going as she was.

In her dreams, Austin came back for her. He was still his brooding self, and never asked nicely. He would demand that she come back and she happily went with him. Then she would wake up and it was all a nightmare.

Two weeks had passed and she felt like everything she did was a chore. She was becoming lonely at her house with no one to talk to and had thought about moving in with her mother. She knew that her mom would agree but she didn't want to seem needy and some part of her was still wishing that Austin would come for her.

So, she figured she would do something about it herself. She couldn't keep going on like she was. She needed answers. Austin didn't get to just keep her prisoner and then get rid of her whenever he wanted. That wasn't how it worked. He didn't get to be in control just because he said so.

She left work early, not in the mood to type up nonsense papers all day. When she first returned back to work she figured she would love it again. But she realized things quickly. Nothing was as it had seemed. All she did was sit in a cubicle typing papers that made absolutely no sense to her. It no longer felt like a real job. It felt like she was just coasting through life. The friends she thought she had, weren't. They were merely aquaintences. She only had her mom and Sarah. And even Sarah had her own life, family, job and friends. She felt so alone. She was going to go home and pack a bag. She called her mom so she wouldn't worry about her; she was taking a trip. She didn't care how long it took, she was going to search for him. She was going to first go to the warehouse and if he wasn't there, then she was going to find where the house was. She could never forget the name of the town if she wanted to. It might have been small but Poppyseed would be forever engraved in her memory. Such a weird name for a town but one easily found. It would take her 5 hours to get there.

She pulled into her driveway, glad that she finally had a game plan. As she walked through the front door and closed it without looking, she froze when she looked up. Her home was trashed. Furniture was overturned, cushions ripped. Her dishes shattered everywhere. She hurried and grabbed her new phone from her purse and dialed 911.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." A deep voice spoke as a man stepped from around the hall with a gun raised at her head. She froze, feeling her body beginning to tremble.

"You are coming with me." The man said as he snatched the phone and disconnected the call. She didn't get a chance to blink before the butt of his gun hit the side of her head, sending her crashing into the black abyss.

She screamed as another kick was sent to her ribs.

"Where is he?" The man screamed.

"I have no idea what you are talking about!" She wheezed. This had been going on since she woke up, about an hour ago. He would hit or kick her if she didn't tell him what he wanted to hear.
