Today she was writing another chapter in her book about the ghost riders. It was about them taking Stiles, far away to a place that didn't exist. She wanted to stop as it was too much for her writing about the loss of her best friend, but her hand wouldn't stop.

"Hey, slow down." A hand was placed on top hers and she looked up to see Scott hovering over her.

Kayla looked down at her notebook and saw that she had started to scribble the name 'Stiles' repeatedly. She set her pen down and leaned back in her chair. "I am officially going crazy."

As Kayla gathered her things, Scott continued to look at what she had written. "The way you're writing this...it's like you were there."

"Just what came to mind," she quickly said as she stood up.

Kayla looked behind Scott and saw Liam and Mason arguing. She motioned for them to move over to them.

"We should hide them."

"We should fight them."

"Who's them?" Scott leans over the chair and whispers.

"The Ghost Riders," Liam answered as Corey said "The kids at the party."

Kayla looked down at the young teens who had gotten themselves into the crazy supernatural world this fast; it was just like herself. "What's your amazing plan baby beta?"

Liam turns to the blonde, wanting to say something about her 'baby beta' comment but ignoring it. "We could get a lightning rod. Attract the Ghost Riders and catch them off guard."

"But since everyone from the party is in danger, all we need to do is find a safe place to hide them until the storm passes," Mason adds in his idea.

Liam closes his eyes and shakes his head. "The Ghost Riders ride the lightning. Nowhere is safe."

Kayla didn't know who to listen to as the two best friends kept arguing back and forth on what was best for everyone. "It is, if we're underground. The Earth can ground the lightning's electrical charge. Everyone would be safe."

"Okay..." Scott sets his stuff down in the chair and pats the seat next to him for Kayla. "Here's what we're gonna do. We take everyone to the Argent Bunker; it's underground. It'd lined with mountain ash."

"We stopped the Ghost Riders last night," Liam argues with his alpha. "We can do it again."

Kayla lays her hands out on the table so Liam would listen to her. "Listen Liam, the retreated and we have no idea why. Plus, if we're actually going to fight them now, we don't have enough people for that. We can't protect everyone so it's safer if they go underground."

Liam exhales and takes in what she just said. He finally nods, agreeing with the plan. "Okay. How do we get everyone inside the bunker?"

Walking into Stiles' house and him not being home was weird. It was very quiet in the house, minimal sun coming through the curtains as a storm was brewing outside. Scott was cautious at first, but decided it would be best if Kayla went with Lydia to the Stilinski's house to search for a relic Stiles left behind.
