The last thing I remembered was two guys coming up to me, knowing my name. Next thing I know, I was passed out and was like that for a whole night.

Now, I was in some underground lair where I was tied up to a fence. My arms were bound above my head so I couldn't try and escape. I look around and see no one in the room; so I try planning how I'm going to get out of here.

"Having fun?"

That was a voice I haven't heard in such a long, a voice that used to haunt my dreams. I looked up, blowing my damp hair out of my face to see Gerard. I have always hated him since he took Jackson under his control, but I thought he was dead.

"Feels like Sophomore year all over again." My voice his quiet, but shows signs of no fear.

Gerard sits down on the chair and his hand lingers over a knob. "You are correct, but it's so much worse."

The dial turns up to five and the crackling of electric currents fills up the whole room. My spine arches once it hits me, my screams echoing in the dark lair where no one will find me. I look over at Gerard who is smiling to himself, happy that I'm in pain. I would say stop, but it would show that I'm under his control and he can turn that dial whenever he wants. So, I grit my teeth and fight through the pain.

Gerard turns off the electrical fence and stands right in front of me. "Tough wolf. I've been studying you lately, seeing what your weaknesses are. I'd like to let you know that you're boyfriend has been living in his truck for the past couple of days."

Theo was homeless? Why didn't he stay with Scott? I could only imagine how hard life is on him right now, but he chose to do that. "If you took Theo–"

"I didn't." Gerard holds up his hands to stop me. A door opens and two men bring in a guy with a bag over his head. "I brought someone better."

The man on the left removes the bag, revealing someone I never thought I would see again. Isaac Lahey – my ex-boyfriend – was kneeled down right across the room from me. His face was all bloody, scratches and bruises covering his body. I couldn't mutter a single word to him as he got strapped up next to me. Isaac's eyes were droopy so he didn't know I was even next to him. Oh my did I have so many questions for him.

Gerard started walking out, but I yelled after him. "Scott's going to find us!"

"I doubt that," he says giving me one last smirk before leaving.

It's only thirty minutes later when Isaac's finally wakes up. His crystal blue eyes frantically search the room until they land on me. He jumps back a little and looks at me like I'm a whole different person.

"Kayla." God have I missed his voice. I totally forgot how my name sounded coming out of those lips. "What's going on? Are you okay?"

I nod. "I'm fine, but I think hunters are trying to get rid of the werewolves in Beacon Hills. What are you doing here?"

"I came back for yo – the pack. I came back for the pack." The look in Isaac's eyes shows a glimmer of hope, that I'm still waiting for him, but little does he know that I have moved on.

I sigh and look at my shoes which are already worn down and dirty. "Isaac...I'm with Theo now."

"Theo? As in Theo Raeken?" his voice raises louder than it should. "Didn't you hate him in fourth grade?"

"It doesn't matter." I probably shouldn't have even started this conversation; we should be devising a way to get us out of here.

Isaac shifts his weight so he's leaning his whole body weight against the fence. "Sorry, it's just I haven't been with anyone since I left. I always thought that if I came back soon enough, you would welcome me with open arms.

"I always thought that too," I admit to him and it's the full truth. "Things change and people change. Theo came into my life when I came back to Beacon Hills and he got me like no one ever had. I fell in love with him instantly and–"

"Don't give me your full love story please," Isaac interrupts me. "Let's just focus on getting out of here.

I wanted to argue and say he was the one who started this whole conversation, but I didn't. Knowing us, we always wanted to be right, and it would take hours before we solved it. I look around me and see nothing that could help us. Somehow I felt like we weren't getting out of here.

so...isaac is officially back. let me tell you right now there will be tension between isaac & theo (ofc there would it's ex bf vs. bf) but there will be no live triangle. i've already done that concept in the second book and i don't need to pick between these two amazing couples lol.

and this is a short chapter just to show what's happening to kayla. once teen wolf shows where theo went i can definitely get more ideas from there.
