"On three. One, two, three!"

The elevator door creaked open, allowing Liam and I to finally escape. It was eerily silent in the hallways; no sign of Theo nor the Ghost Riders. Even though he wasn't dead, he was still gone and I didn't know if we were ever going to get him back.

Liam and I walk forward and inspect the rooms as we walk by them. When we got to the front desk, a clicking noise could be heard, and it started happening repeatedly. We look back and see something that wasn't there before – a sign that listed cities, something you'd only find in a train station. The number stop on the list finally showed: Beacon Hills. They were coming after us and I was pretty sure both me and Liam were the only ones left.

"Let's go find Scott," Liam suggests, turning towards the exit.

I shake my head and plant my feet firmly to the ground. "I'm going to stay here. What if Theo shows up?"

The look on Liam's face proves that he thinks I'm crazy, but he just nods his head. "Okay, just stay alive."

I'm sitting on the front desk now because train tracks have somehow formed in the middle of the hallway. My ears deceive me when I hear Stiles' voice calling out my name, but I don't hear footsteps. Was this the Ghost Riders playing a trick or was Stiles actually out there somewhere?

"Kayla!"

I turn to see Scott and Liam already back. I get off the desk and give Scott a quick hug, thankful he was okay. He turns to see the train tracks and has the same expression on his face when I first saw them. "This is happening everywhere?"

"Here, school, lacrosse field," Liam answers as we start to walk forward.

I scrunch my eyebrows together, trying to solve this puzzle. "What does this mean?"

"It means," I look up and see Mr.Douglas standing down the hall. "It's working."

His eyes linger on me and I know he's thinking about the whole Elizabeth thing. I transform, along with Scott and Liam; it's three against one he can't take all of us.

"Hellhound!"

I turn around only to see Parrish, his eyes glowing green which meant he was under their control.

"Parrish," Scott calls out to him. "Parrish, you don't wanna do this. Stop!"

"The Wild Hunt's coming, you can't stop them," Douglas taunts us. I turn back towards him and growl. "Eliza – oh I mean Kayla. I would love to have one of the first doppelgänger's at my side. Along with a true alpha, a banshee, a were coyote–"

"A Stiles."

"What?"

I see a metal bat swing into Douglas' head and he falls to the ground. A smile spreads wide onto my face when I see that Stiles was the one who saved us. "Bad guy, right? I didn't misread that?"

Mr.Douglas growls and starts to get up, so I run to Stiles and push him against the wall. Parrish goes flying across the hall, landing right into Douglas.
