Chapter 16

"Oh, okay. So yea, I'll see you guys around." Aaron said as he took a step closer, my insticnt was take a step backward. But he just leaned down and kissed my cheek. I cringed, "It was nice meeting you again, darling." He winked. I wanted to vomit.

Jimmy had pure legitimate fire in his eyes. He was mad. He let go of my hand and gave him a handshake, "See you around, man." He said with the best fake smile on. Why was he acting like this? So what? The wedding was called off a year ago. Im sure he has a new one by now.

Jimmy and I looked at him as he walked away. Then all of a sudden, Jimmy turned to look at me, "So, When were you going to tell me?" He asked bitterly. "Tell you about what?" I asked, He glared at me. What the hell?

"Dont act stupid, Sarah! When were you going to tell me about a wedding, Aaron... Tell me you were engaged!" He growled. I looked at him, "I was going to tell you." I said, he just shook his head and chuckled, "COMPLETE BULL." He spat out. My heart broke into pieces the moment he said that.

"SO YOU DONT TRUST ME?! YOU THINK THAT I'D TELL YOU THE WORST YEAR OF MY LIFE THAT EVEN MAVERICK DOES NOT KNOW , IN A SNAP?! SO YOU THINK YOU SHOULD KNOW EVERYTHING?!" I yelled back, some of the people looked at us. But not that many. Jimmy looked around before pulling me behind a tree.

"YES! I HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW! IM YOUR FRIKIN BOYFRIEND, SARAH! " He yelled back. I shook my head, "Well, Here let me tell you something. It was the worst year of my life, that it literally scarred me." I whispered, the tears starting to form as the memories came flashing back. Jimmy just stood there. I swatted his hand away and started to walk away and let the tears fall.

But then I felt a hand grab my hand and pulled me into a hug and placed small kisses on my head. "Im sorry. Im so so so sorry." He said as he placed a long and passionate kiss on my lips. "Im sorry. Its just...We'll talk about this later, okay?" He said as he cupped my face and looked into my eyes. I nodded, "Dont cry, Im sorry." He said as he placed his forehead on mine.

I nodded, "Im sorry, Jimmy. I swear, I was going to tell you. But I couldnt do it. But I promise you, the moment we get back home, I'll tell you everything." I said as I looked at him. Jimmy nodded and kissed my forehead.

We sat there, underneath the tree, holding unto each other, watching the kids play.

"I would want kids." Jimmy said nonchalantly. I looked up at him, "I do too." I added. He smiled, "I'd name our son, Mario and our daughter, Peach." He said. I sat up and looked up at him, "There is now way that I'd allow you to name our kids like that" I said seriously which made Jimmy laugh.

"Im just kidding, I'd like you to name our kids." He said. "I like the name, Gabby for a boy and Kasey for a girl. " I replied, I could tell Jimmy smiled. "I like that." He added, I nodded.

We sat there for about 30 more minutes telling each other jokes, laughing our asses off and watching people's lives go on.

"Wanna go home?" Jimmy asked. I nodded. He stood up and helped me up before leading me to the streets to hail a cab. I could see camera flashes go off, and Jimmy held my hand. I wasnt scared of Regina seeing me. Knowing that Jimmy loves me is the best thing ever.

We arrived at Jimmy's place and I walked to Jimmy's room and just plopped down on the bed. Jimmy sat beside me.

"So you want to tell me what happened?" He asked softly. I nodded and sighed,

"Aaron and I have been dating for about 11 months. And on our 1 year anniversary, he proposed to me, and I said yes. I thought I was inlove. i thought he was the one. I thought this was it. I was desperate... desperate to forget about you, Jimmy. I wanted to forget you so bad, but I cant. I just cant. But the moment I said yes, there was no turning back. But one night, I came home to see him making out with another woman. I still rember the look on his face when I caught them." I said as tears started to form. Jimmy looked at me, and I saw pain and sorrow and sympathy in his eyes. He scooted closer and grabbed my hand and kissed it and looked at me, motioning me to tell everything.

"A-And After the woman left, He came rushing into the room and tried to..." I said that and all the tears came rushing down. Jimmy pulled me into a hug and buried his face into my hair. "Im sorry. I should've chased you. I should've followed you and told you sooner." He said. I pulled him closer, "Its okay. Its over now. I have you and there is nothing better than that." I said as I kissed his head, he looked up at me. I wiped the tears away with the back of my thumbs.

"I swear, that jackass comes near you again, I'll shove his face up his ass." He said, which made me smile. "I'd like that." I remarked. He smiled and held me close.
