Chapter 10

"Hi, is there something wrong?" Justin asked awkwardly as I held my stare. Jimmy looked at me, still confused. I sighed, "Can I talk to you guys in private... please?" I asked, Jimmy nodded but Justin just sat there, unsure of what to say and do.

"I-I dont know..." Justin trailed off, Jimmy looked at him and nodded, "Its okay, man." He assured. Justin looked at him before giving in, "Alright."

I looked around to see if someone was looking, as soon as I saw the coast was clear, I grabbed their hands and brought them to the stock room.

"Okay, I am not sure of what to do and what to say." Justin said, I shook my head, I turned around and stood there before balling up my hand and attempting to hit Justin, he instantly dodged.

"What the hell?!" He exclaimed, Jimmy smiled, "You're a sync too?!"

Justin nodded, "Of course Im N'SYNC!" He said like a little boy seeing a ballon for the first time. Jimmy and I laughed out loud, "I like that!" I commented, "But then fiinally, someone I can relate too!" He said as he pulled us in a hug. Well that escalated quickly. Jimmy chuckled, "And I guess its the right time to introduce my woman." Jimmy smiled as he wrapped an arm around my waist and pulled me closer.

"Justin meet Sarah, Babe meet Justin." Jimmy introduced, Justin just stared at me.

"Are you serious?! Is this legit?! Nice to meet you!" He said as he pulled me into a hug, "You look familiar." He added while narrowing his eyes at me, I shrugged.

"Wait! You're THE Sarah! Jimmy never stops talking about you at work! You guys were High School sweethearts, right?" Justin asked, Jimmy blushed and I chuckled,

"So you talk about me in work?" I asked while folding my arms, Jimmy just shrugged,

"Well he has the right too, you're beautiful." Justin stated and Jimmy instantly pulled me close, "Get your own, pal." He said protectively but in a kind of joking manner. Justin laughed, "I aint stealing anyone's girl. She's yours. And beside's you guys are like the cutest couple. Ya'll officially my favorite couple." He said, Jimmy nodded and kissed my temple. "But I still cant believe you're a sync!" Jimmy exclaimed, I smiled, "Yea! And we can like be best friends!" Justin said, I liked that. Jimmy nodded, "Hell yea!" He chimed in, "We should all go to my place after my shift, I mean if its okay with you, Jus." I said, Justin nodded, "Of course!" Justin smiled.

"I cant wait to introduce you to Maverick! He's a pretty big fan" I said, Justin laughed, "Well I cant wait to meet him too!" He replied. Just then the door knob started to shake, I looked at Jimmy and Justin instantly pulled us back. Just then the doors opened to reveal Regina Winters. She looked around before closing it again. Justin let us go and I looked at him,

"That's a sick power, dude!" I pointed out, Justin smiled, "Thanks, I know right! Though, What's yours?" he asked, "I think we should do it some place else." I said, Jimmy and Justin nodded, "Youre right." Justin answered, " I think we should get back." I said as I walked to the door, Jimmy followed and gave me a quick kiss before walking out, I followed him, looking left and right to see if someone was looking. I was pretty sure it was all clear. I walked out and back into the bar, Jimmy and Justin back into their normal places. From there, The night went good. Not even one single moment with Regina.

"Hey Guys, I have to go, maybe we can hang out some other time, I have to run to the studio and do a little recording for the new album. " Justin said as he just got off a phone call, "Oh, okay... See you soon, Jus. And nice 'officially' meeting you." I said as I gave him a hug. He hugged me back, "Sure, you too!" He smiled before giving Jimmy a hug. "See ya dude." He said while doing their 'secret' handshake, "Yea" Jimmy smiled as he wrapped an arm around my waist, We watched him get in a cab and it was only Jimmy and I from there as he drove away.

"Damn Im tired." I said as we started walking down the street. I pratically leaned on Jimmy the whole time. "I can tell" He chuckled, and hailed a cab. We got in and Jimmy told the cabbie where to go. I leaned on Jimmy's shoulder the whole trip as Jimmy rubbed his thumb against the top of my hand. "One of the best days of my life." Jimmy whispered in my ear, I looked up at him, "How?" I asked, "I finally got you back." He said, I smiled, but I had to ask a question, "Then what's the best of the best?"

"Meeting you." He simply stated. Touchè. I smiled and snuggled up against him, I honestly never felt so loved by another man aside from Mav.

I actually did not notice how fast the trip was but the next thing I know was Jimmy paying the cabbie and helping me out. We walked in, hand in hand, the people in the lobby looking at us. We strolled in the elevator and pressing the top floor. As it ascended, I leaned into Jimmy who still had his arm loosely wrapped around my waist. As the doors opened, I practically dragged myself out. I. Was. So.Tired. I rummaged through my bag, looking for the keys. I finally got it and walked a little further to the door. I unlocked it and went in, the lights were switched off. I stumbled to the stairs, I felt drunk, but I wasnt, Im just sleepy as hell. Jimmy helped me up the stairs and into my room. I dropped my bag and went to the bathroom to fix up a little.

I got out, and Jimmy was no where in sight. I shurgged and walked to my bed and just plopped down. Me and my bed are going to have an initmate moment tonight, we're going to sleep together. I could feel my eyes going heavy, and that's when I felt someone grab the covers and drape it over me.

" Good night, Sarah. Just call me if you need me. I'll see you tomorrow. I love you." He whispered while giving me a soft kiss on the lips and on the forhead. "Mmmkay, love you too." I groaned as I snuggled deeper into the covers. I heard him chuckle and I could feel him slowly leave. And then I was surronded by darkness.

"Jimmy? Maverick?" I asked as I roamed around looking for some familiar faces. Just then a man in a white cloak appeared infront of me, "They're gone." He said before disappearing. I looked around, Just then I heard a familiar voice I can never forget. Jimmy's.

I ran and saw light coming from the room at the end of the hall, I walked in and I saw the scariest scene, Jimmy standing there, all tied up and a gun pointed at him, "Dont you dare hurt her." He growled, but the man just laughed and pulled the trigger.

"No!" I cried as his body fell limp onto the floor. I ran to him, tears were streaming down, I held him tight and looked around and there I saw Maverick, on the floor, all bloody and beaten up. I didnt know what to do. I lost everything. I lost my best friend. I lost the man I love.

"Sarah. Im right here." Jimmy whispered as he wrapped his arms around me. I looked at him, tears were still streaming down, I hugged him and held him tight. "I dont want to loose you." I said as I snuggled up against him. "I'm not going anywhere." he said as he kissed my head.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"Make sure, cause I need you here with me." I said as I laid my head on his chest.

He nodded and we just laid there, all snuggled up against each other.

"How'd you know?" I asked, as the tears subsided, "I felt it." He said, I looked at him , "What do you mean?" I asked, "I felt that you needed me to be with you." He said and just held me tighter. I nodded and laid my head on his chest. "Jimmy, can you stay the night?" I asked, he looked down at me and gave me a soft smile. "of course." He said and kissed my head, He pulled the covers over us and pulled me closer, "I will never let anyone hurt you" He said as switched the lamp off. I never felt safer.
