Chapter 14 || The Journey Begins

"Morning!" I chirp to Oceana, who is still asleep in her double bed of the hotel. "Mhm." She says, muffling under her blanket. "Get up! We have a long day ahead of us!" I demand. "She still lays in her bed, refusing to get out. I strip open her blanket, leaving Oceana cold in her bed. "Why did u do thatttt?!" She whines. "I said get up!'' I repeat to her. "She rolls of her bed, leaving herself on the floor. I grab her arm, helping her get up. She yawns and heads to the bathroom to take a shower. I sit on my bed, wondering who would notice we were gone. Oceana comes out of the bathroom all dressed, awake now. "Come on, I'm starving for some real food!" I say, stomach grumbling at the same time. We leave our room and head the breakfast buffé down stairs. Large tables fill the room, with trays of delicious breakfast surrounding the sides of the room. Oceana and I grab our plates and head our different directions to get some food. I grab 3 pancakes and squeeze some maple syrup, across the top of them. Then I grab some berries and a strawberry milkshake. I sit down and begin eating, Oceana sits down and we begin discussing the journey ahead of us. "So how are we getting to your relatives?" She asks. "Uh....I'm not sure?'' I say, not thinking. All of a sudden something rings in my back pocket. It was my phone, Abigail was ringing me. "Whoever it is, don't answer!" Oceana demands. "But..." I complain. "Don't!" She repeats with a firmer tone. I slump in my chair, when an incredible idea pops into my brain. "I got it!" I announce. "What?!" Oceana eagerly asks. "I have moms old phone, she's ought to have one of my relatives numbers on there!" I explain. ''Ok! What are we waiting for?" Oceana says. I open up moms old flip phone, scrolling through her contacts. There I see it Maddison Younge, my aunt. I type it into my phone and place moms back into my pocket. Oceana and I finish up our breakfast and head back to our room. When we go back to our room, it is cleaned with beds made and bathroom all tidy. I grab my backpack, and head back to the front desk to pay. "Hello again girls, you checking out?'' The lady from last night says. "Yes please, how much will it be?'' I ask, taking out my wallet from my backpack. "$46.50 sweets." She smiles. I open up my wallet and grab a $50 dollar note and hand it to the receptionist. "Thank you I hope you enjoyed your stay!'' She says waving to us as we leave the hotel. "So, how are we going to ask your auntie where she lives without making it suspicious?'' Oceana asks, all worried like. "Hmmm....I'll just say it's a project
for school." "Ok then let's txt her now!" Oceana says. I get my phone out and Text her.

"Ok we got the information we needed!" I celebrate! "Yeah, but now we have to travel half way across the world?!" Oceana begins. "So what's the plan Amelia?" She sasses. I think to myself. "We will get a cab to the nearest airport, go on a plane to LA, and get another cab to take us to my Aunts house." I finally finishing, taking a breath. "Ok, but there are no cabs around here!" Oceana grumps. "We can just ring one up?" I ask. "Let's just try it." Oceana says. I get out my phone, and ring up a cab.

~Phone call~
???: Hello?
Me: Hello is this a cab driver?
???: Yes I believe so
Cab driver: How may I help you?
Me: Can you come and pick, my friend and I up.
Cab driver: Yes sure where are you?
Me: We are in front of the Baja Hotel
Cab driver: Alright, I will be about 20 mins
Me: 20mins?!
Cab driver: Sorry sweety
Me: it's ok, we will be here waiting
Cab driver: ok seen you soon
Me: Bye

I hang up and we sit down on our luggage and wait for the taxi. It takes forever, for the cab driver to come but it finally arrives...
