We arrive at the basketball court and go inside.
The boys go sit side court while I go to the team.
"Ready?" The captain says to me.
"Yep."
"How'd your ribs heal?"
"Good, I'm all better now."
"Good."
I see people start to file in.
I go over to the boys, Niall hugs me while the rest repeat his actions. Brad just stands there.
When we all break, Liam nudges Brad. He looks down and comes over to me an hugs me.
I close my eyes and enjoy the embrace. Haven't had a hug like this in a while.
He breaks and kisses my cheek, "good luck."
"Thanks."
I smile at the boys and walk over to the team again.
"Let us begin."
