Josh POV

It's been a year since Jen and I graduated college, we moved in together soon after we started college. We are both 22 now.

Both of us have jobs, Jen decided to open up a small café with our moms, because of her love for food. I am a surf instructor, I teach people how to surf. Yes, it's not a high paying job, but it pays the bills.

I don't have any clients today so I'm at home for the whole day and so is Jen. Our mothers are taking care of the café today, so it's all good.

"Mornin' sunshine" I smile, when I see Jen wake up. 

"Good morning" she smiles back, I will never get over the feeling of waking up next to her.

"How'd you sleep, sweetheart?" I ask, kissing her lightly on her lips.

"I slept well, what about you?" Jen smiles, her face really close to mine.

"I slept well too, baby" I smile.

"Good"

"So what do you wanna go today?" I question, pushing her glasses closer to her eyes.

"I just wanna lay in bed and watch movies" she says, then yawns.

"How bout something better?" I raise my eyebrow, smirking. "Let's build a fort!"

"OH MY GOD YES!" Jen exclaims, and abruptly gets out of bed and rushes to the bathroom.

I walk into the bathroom too, then Jen and I brush our teeth together. Jen quickly takes a shower and gets dressed in pajamas. After her, I do the same.

"So, where do you wanna make the fort?" Jen asks, picking up a couple of pillows.

"In the living room" I reply, and pick up a few blankets.

We walk to the living room and start building our fort, we put pillows and blankets and make it as comfy as possible. We make the fort face the TV so that we can still watch Netflix. Jen gets some snacks from the kitchen, and I bring some video games. Yes, Jen loves to play video games. How cool is that?

We take a seat in our fort then cuddle together. We watch shows on Netflix, until I discover that Jen has fallen asleep. After, I watch TV for a bit more until I get tired too and eventually fall asleep.

When I wake up, I see Jen's head on my chest and she's still sleeping. She looks so beautiful, I can't believe that I used to bully her. I'm glad that we are here today and that she gave me a chance to show her how much I love her.

Not soon after Jen wakes up, stretching on the blankets that are under us.

"Hey sweetheart" I whisper, grinning at her cuteness.

"Hi Joshy" she replies, cuddling closer to my chest.

"Sweetheart it's 6pm, we should wake up" I whisper, holding her closer and kissing her forehead.
