"takes a particular type of girl, to put my heart under arrest" -this must be my dream
------------------------------------------------------------Josh POV
I walk into the room and just as I expected, I see her. She's looking in the mirror at herself.
"You're not supposed to be here, you know" she says, still looking in the mirror.
"How'd you know?" I frown, walking up behind her so I come into the view in the mirror.
"I've known you since elementary school, and I heard the door open" she giggles, looking at me in the mirror.
I smile, then go stand behind her to hug her.
"You're not supposed to be here, Josh" she turns around and says sternly.
"Oh come on, there's no one here, good girl" I say. I then lean in close to her ear and whisper, "Break the rules once in a while"
She pushes me away and frowns, "Stop ruining my wedding day, Josh"
"Well I'm sorry, I couldn't help it! I had to come see you" I reply, pleading.
"What do you want Josh?" Jen asks, clearly she doesn't want me here.
"I'm a mess without you, Jen" I tell her.
"Deal with it" she says firmly, her eyes fixated on mine.
"I can't Jen!" I beg.
"Josh, someone might come. He might come. You can not be here" Jennifer repeats again.
"Let him come, he should see us anyway" I reply, walking closer to her.
"What do you need?" Jennifer questions, arms folded across her chest.
"Help me tie my tie. No one in the groom's department knows how to!" I exclaim, and hand her my tie.
She huffs and says, "Jesus! You guys are such apes"
"You're marrying one, sweetheart" I smirk, and she glares at me. Snatching the tie from my grasp.
She walks closer to me and wraps the cloth around my collar. My hands go around her waist to pull her closer, which causes me to get another glare but I just smile. She's so concentrated on her work, her tongue poking out of the corner of her mouth. So cute.
I take this time to appreciate her beauty. She's done natural makeup for today, which I'm really glad about. Her hair is down in waves and a flower crown rests on it. Making her look like a princess.
"Done!" Jennifer says, and this causes me to snap out of my trance but I don't let her go.
"Let go Josh" she demands, struggling in my hold.
"Nope" I smirk.
"You know it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding" Jennifer informs me, her hands folded across her chest.
"Correction. It's bad luck to see the bride in her wedding dress before the wedding" I state, "Unfortunately for me, you're in a robe. Not that I'm complaining, I just really wanted to get a peek on the dress"
"Shut up and leave" Jennifer orders, finally getting out of my hold and turning away to the closet.
"Alright. I'm going! I'll see you out there. I'm going to see him now" I state and walk out the door.
I make my way to where my mother is to see him. He's probably going to be with the families, charming up to them with his handsome looks.
I walk into the room and as I suspected, there he is. Making them laugh and completely fall in love with him.
