cuddle buddy [markhyuck]

donghyuck had his face buried in mark's neck when the elder woke up the following day. the young male was dead asleep, but boy did he look comfortable. donghyuck had his arms wrapped around mark's torso, like he was holding on for dear life.

mark took this as an oppornutiy to run his fingers through donghyuck's hair. donghyuck probably felt it because his grip tightened as he pulled mark closer, if that was even possible. in the end, mark was doing little braids in donghyuck's hair.

"markie, what are you doing," donghyuck asked as he woke up, unwrapping his arms to rub his eyes; that was the deepest sleep he's ever had. mark smiled at the young male, the little braids sticking up here and there.

"good morning to you too, lovely," mark chuckled, hugging donghyuck. mark could practically hear donghyuck roll his eyes, but he knew donghyuck was messing with him. donghyuck was being pretty soft these past few days, and boy was mark happy about that.

donghyuck knew how much mark enjoyed his hair being pet, so that's exactly what he has been doing for the past couple of days. donghyuck would make mark rest his head in his lap, then start to run his fingers through his hyung's hair, just like mark has done.

a good amount of the time, mark ends up falling asleep. but even though he is asleep, donghyuck still messes with mark's hair. but then he also liked to admire mark while he was comfortable and asleep. then there are times where donghyuck falls asleep while playing with mark's hair, and when he'd wake up, he'd be wrapped in blankets with his favorite stuffed animal.

mark always tries to make donghyuck happy and safe, and god that makes donghyuck fall even more in love each time he does. donghyuck trusts mark so much, and he always feels safe around him.

donghyuck wasn't actually expecting anything more than a cuddle buddy relationship. he just thought that mark was going to use donghyuck to calm down, but that's not what happened.

what donghyuck got was the best boyfriend anyone could ask for, who showers him in love and attention all day every day. that was what both of them were least expecting, actually. it didn't take mark long to fall for donghyuck, and once mark confessed, it shocked donghyuck.

in a good way of course. he was thrilled. he knew he liked mark the moment he saw him, as cliche as it sounds. he just never thought that mark would like him back. but he was wrong. mark treats donghyuck like a prince, and donghyuck couldn't be happier.
