cuddle buddy [markhyuck]

it was more awkward when mark led the younger male up to his bedroom. donghyuck was smiling softly, exploring the room in amazement. mark didn't like it when people would say nice things to him, so donghyuck refrained from saying anything.

"i'm sorry if i seem awkward, i'm not used to this kind of stuff," mark warned, sitting down on the bed. donghyuck nodded, but sat down next to mark anyway. donghyuck didn't rush anything, let mark do whatever he was comfortable with.

"if you don't wan-"

"no, stay," mark said in an almost pleading voice, looking at donghyuck. mark quickly looked away; he started to feel selfish. he didn't like it when attention was put on him. he now believes it's selfish to even want a cuddle buddy.

"nevermind, i'm just being selfish again," mark stated, going to stand up until a hand grabbed his wrist, making him sit back down. the older male started to get scared, afraid donghyuck was going to do something to him.

"nothing you do will ever be selfish. i volunteered for this, remember?"

mark nodded, defeated. donghyuck didn't remove his hand from mark's wrist, although he knew he should. they sat in silence, mark wondering if anything will ever happen between the two of them.

not that he wanted anything to, of course.

"listen, i don't know how to feel comfortable doing this," mark blurted out, blushing intensely. donghyuck smiled softly, placing his hand on the older male's shoulder.

"it's okay, mark. if you aren't comfortable, i won't force you. wherever you feel ready is fine by me. cuddling can be kind of uncomfortable at first."

"no, let me get used to it," mark said truthfully, looking donghyuck directly in the eye. donghyuck felt his heart melt at the sight, but nodded nonetheless.

the younger of the two laid down on the bed, back against the headboard to support himself. he opened his arms, signaling for mark. mark climbed over, and settled himself next to donghyuck.

donghyuck had his arms wrapped around mark's shoulders. it felt strange to mark to have someone this close, but deep down, it was nice.

"uh, where do i put my arms?"

donghyuck chuckled as he looked down at the male in his embrace. he's an angel, donghyuck thought to himself.

"anywhere, no where if you don't feel comfortable yet."

mark nodded, and used what he saw johnny and ten do, and he wrapped them around the younger's waist, a blush creeping up to his face.

"sorry."

donghyuck looked down at the male in amazement. mark always felt like he was doing something wrong, and had to say sorry everytime he felt he did something wrong.

"mark, if you say sorry one more time, i will hurt you," donghyuck chuckled, causing a blush to rise up on mark's face.

donghyuck smiled sweetly down at him, rubbing his thumb mark's shoulder. it was extremely soothing to mark.

and in a short amount of time, mark had fallen asleep.
