cuddle buddy [markhyuck]

donghyuck sighed as he watched mark run around with jisung, not sure why he sighed. he didn't expect to grow up this fast; he didn't expect jisung to grow up this fast.

jisung is already 20; donghyuck and mark remember when he was fifteen. time has flown by so quickly and neither of them like it. donghyuck just wants to spend time with mark.

"can't believe he's twenty already," mark said as he back hugged donghyuck, resting his head on the younger's shoulder. donghyuck chuckled, looking over at jisung and chenle laughing.

"i know, he's all grown up," donghyuck smiled, moving closer to mark. chenle and jisung were playing some game, while jeno and jaemin were chatting up a storm.

about a year ago, jaehyun moved back to america. taeyong and him talk everyday, but it's hard for both of them. yuta went back to japan to see his family. the rest of the guys stayed in korea, but moved away.

"we're all grown up," mark stated, spinning donghyuck around, both of them just slow dancing.

"i can't believe you and i have been together for this long," donghyuck chuckled, looking at their hands. mark pulled him a little closer, hand resting lovingly on his waist.

"i love you. so much. you've been by my side for years, and i appreciate that so much," mark responded, tears filling his eyes as he thought back to when they first met.

"no, don't cry," donghyuck mumbled as he reached up to wipe mark's tears. mark couldn't help it, he's so in love with donghyuck. and thinking back to all the times they've spent together makes it harder.

"mark, you're going to be with me for the rest of our lives. i won't allow anyone to take you away from me. ever," donghyuck quietly said, still dancing slowly with mark. mark smiled the smile only made for donghyuck, which earned a wolf whistle from chenle.

"yah, chenle," jisung informally said, causing both mark and donghyuck to laugh, still in each other's embrace.

sometimes, mark thinks back to five and a half years ago, when he first met donghyuck. it was all thanks to taeyong. it started out as a cuddle buddy relationship, but now look at them.

and often, mark thinks back to when he first met jisung, when he was fifteen. and now he's an adult, and mark can't believe it. time flies so quickly.

"i'm so proud of us," donghyuck happily said, leaning forward to kiss him despite jisung and chenle watching. both of the younger boys have gotten used to mark and donghyuck kissing; it doesn't affect them anymore.

but this is the end of mark and donghyuck's story, for now. it's been hard at times, but good times outlive the bad times. they're going to be together for many, many years left to come.
