Chapter 19

*Zayn pov*

I gave my number to Evelyn in case she needed anything. Im being nice to her because i know what it would feel like being by yourself in such a new experience like moving to a new city and a new school. Scarlett accepted she was jealous at first, she didnt needed to tell me because i knew when i saw her reaction when i arrived with her at the lunch table.

Talking with Scarlett helped me realise my parents decision about the family vacations wasn't going to be as bad as i thought and that it would be nice to change the scenario. I wish i could take Scarlett with me, it would be more fun to have her with me and to go to nivce places for dinner and spend the day together meeting new places. But yeah thats not possible.

Tuesday at school i spent the whole day with Scarlett, she help me with some school work i should start doing if i dont want to get more behind than i´ll be these weeks missing. At night we went over to her house since Hazel was home alone, gladly she is better now and she is going back to school after a heavy week being sick. I helped Scarlett to cook something fast, she baked the mac and cheese and I prepared the sauce, pretty helpful of my part. I stayed until 11 after we finish watching her series, i kiss her goodbye and hugged her. When i arrived home, my mom was already packing for the trip, we are leaving in two days so no big deal packing just now , i will do it the night before we leave.

I couldnt fall asleep easily because i had lots of things in my mind; Like the nights were you just thing about everything in life, you remember things and you just lose yourself deep in thoughts trying to figure things out.Most of my thoughts were about Scarlett and how she have change my life, she gave me the opportunity to start a better life here in Brighton and she showed me that people actually care about who you are as a person, well at least Scarlett and Ryan they have been such good friends and mostly with Scarlett its just sofun to be around her. Scarlett made all the empty things in my life start to get filled with her laughes and her company making me feel happy all the time.

"Zayn sweetie i need you to start packing your clothes, we are leaving friday morning" My mom walk behind me giving me a kiss on the cheek

"Will do on tomorrow night mom not now, im heading to school" I grab my bag heading to the door. My mom comes behind me

"Im leaving now too" She grab the car keys and unlock the car

"Do you want a drive?" I was thinking of walking but getting a drive sounds better

I climb in the passenger seat and put on the seatbelt, as much as i hate using it because its so uncomfortable my mom always make me use it to avoid any accidents. We arrive to school and i get out of the car

"Thanks for the ride mom, see ya later" I close the door and turn around to walk in the building

"Bye" I hear my mom yell from her car. I laugh because few students turned to look at her but she didnt even notice. I put on my sweater and leave the books i dont need in my locker. 

"Hey there!!" Someone exclaims beside me. I turned to look at whoever it is and i see Evelyn

"Hey Evelyn" I grab my bag from the floor and smile at her, she hug me from the side and when she sees me hesitating to her reaction she blush. 

"What class do you have now?" I ask trying to forget what just happened. She is quiet looking down at the floor still embarrassed i guess

"Um i have math class" She look up and show me her huge algebra guide book 

"Oh well I can walk you to your class, I have english next door" I start to walk down the hall and she follows

We walk quietly through the crowd of people trying to get to their classes, We are halfway through when the bell rings. Crap we are late. I run to my class and Evelyn is still by my side. I see Scarlett walking to the class we share and when she see me and Evelyn outside the classroom she frowns and smile at me briefly
