Chapter 21

After talking with my mom I have now twice the things to think about and its driving me crazy. Finally hearing from my mom make me feel some kind of relief to know she still thinks about me even though Im not with her, I know how she gets with all the distance thing since I was her only daughter and its our job to have the mother/daughter bond and now being so apart make me miss her even more and its not the same to not see her everyday now

"Who was that on the phone?" Haz asks entering to my room with a bowl of popcorn i hand

"It was my mom. Not sure why she called but im glad she did" I move to the side so she can sit beside me

"What'd she say?" She hands me the bowl of popcorn

"About how much she missed me and she asked me about you, and if I had get a job yet" i see Hazel smiling

"She asked you about me? How sweet"

"Yeah. I miss her so much, I miss my brother and my dad, I miss all of them" Im getting sad again but I cant help it, my brother is my life and I just left from their lives to move on with mine and it felt right to do it because I needed to but leaving them wasn't easy and its still not easy for me

"You should tell them to come and visit some time" Haz suggest. It would be great if they came to visit, I would show them around and spend some time with them

"Thats a great idea" I say, but I will plan it in two weeks time or so, this weekend we have some kind of bonfire of some girl in our year

"So what do you want to do now?" Haz asks. Its already 6 and I just want to sleep

"Im tired, lets call it a night" I say and lean further in my bed, Haz do the same

"Okay so let's turn the TV on and lets rest" I think I will end up falling asleep but I just nod

Hazel changed of channel trying to pick a show to watch but I just closed my eyes and let my mind relax. I can hear Haz telling me something but I cant understand what it is because Im already closing my eyes falling asleep. Everything after that is all blurred

I open my eyes and see its 3:20 am. I have 3 more hours to sleep but ive slept enough. I go to the bathroom and wash my face. Hazel is still in my bed she might've fall asleep like me. I go to the kitchen to grab a glass with water and walk back to my room. I take my phone and I see I have another text from Zayn

*Are you ok??<3*

The heart sign make me smile. I will text him in the morning, well in few hours when we will be awake or I'll see him at school. I try to sleep again but I cant, I dont plan on staying awake for 3 hours so I take my iPod and put my on headphones, I play some music and soon Im falling asleep again.

*Zayn pov*

I wake up before my alarm goes off, my head is spinning and my throat is dry. Yesterday i came back at 10 and my mom wasnt happy to see in the state i got home, i knew for sure i wasnt drunk but clearly i wasnt in my five senses. I take longer than usual in the shower trying to clear my head for school today. I skip breakfast and hurry to school, im already running late.

I texted Scarlett yesterday asking her where was she and that if everything was okay. I check my phone and she hasn't reply. I shrug it off and went into the high school doors. Harry and Ryan are leaning against the lockers when I spot them

"Hey lads" I greet them, patting them in the shoulder

"How's the hangover treating you?" Harry asks smirking. Him with Jack were the ones to get me all the drinks I took, one after another until Travis stopped them from intoxicating me
