Chapter 11

*Scarlett pov*

I laid in bed all day after we arrived from school. I had stopped crying when Hazel made me laugh telling me something funny that happened in class and im glad to have her because in times like this shes the one who helps me through it. I just need her, I dont need any hypocrites around me pretending they care. Hazel has come to my room to see how im doing but I just say im fine that she doesn't need to worry about me. Zayn had called me like 10 times and I had declined them all not wanting to talk to him. I was now watching 'The spectacular now' and I can say its such a good movie so far, I love how the popular guy meets an innocent naive girl and they fall in love at the end. Watching movies always help me to clear my mind and forget about true real world.

*Zayn pov*

Im home and im still utterly confused why Scarlett was acting that way. She seemed so mad and upset. She even cried and I don't have a clue why. She said she didn't want to see me again. I haven't done anything to upset her. Ryan rang me a few times but I didnt pick up.

I take a shower and change into some sweats and a sweater, the weather was dropping badly. I decide to go out to walk around to clear my mind. I call Scarlett few times but she didnt answered. I just want to call her to ask what had happened. If it involves me I deserve an explanation, dont I?

4 blocks down my house there is this park where I had come 2 times and I love it because you feel relaxed as soon as you sit in a bench and look around watching little kids playing around, dogs with their owners and small groups of people with a guitar. Hopefully I brought my headphones with me. I stay in the park for 2 hours before I head back home. My dad had just arrived so I just said hi and go to my room. Tomorrow is friday and I hope Scarlett will talk to me because its the party at Harrys and I was thinking of taking her.

My mom wakes me up before she leaves to work. For some strange reason my alarm clock had break and my mom now needs to wake me up just like when I was younger. I remember my mom waking me up and carrying me to the bathroom so I could take a shower while she made breakfast for me, then she would take me to school and then she would go to work until late at night. Mornings were my favourite time of the day because I spent time with her and with my dad he got up really early for work and he would come back at 11, and I was already sleeping. It just became a habit being alone and I stopped caring after a while.

I take my moms car and drive to school. It was quick although there was one or two traffics on the way. When I arrive, and I see Hazels car few meters away from where I just parked, which means Scarlett had already arrive also. I spot Hazel standing in the lockers with Melissa. When she looks at me I wave, her face is hard to read but her gaze is hard and it make me feel like I did the worst thing in the world. Scarlett is not with them which is weird because they are always together before going to class. I approach them and lean against the lockers

"Hey have you seen Scarlett?" I ask to the girls

Hazel look away and say nothing. Melissa see her reaction and then look at me "Um she didnt came to school today, shes feeling sick" she say

Sick? Why is she sick? She was perfectly fine yesterday

"Oh well thanks" I turn around and walk to my locker

Ryan is taking his books from his locker.

"Hey mate" I greet him

"Hey Zayn how are ya?" He asks not looking at me

"Actually im feeling really sick, ive got a massive headache so im just going home, please inform the teachers for me" I tell him

"Yeah sure mate, get well" he pat my shoulder and walk away
