Chapter 2

As soon as I get out the doors I see Hazel standing next to her car. When she spot me she domes running with her arms open and jump almost making me trip down, giving me a strong squeeze more than a hug

"I missed you so much scar its been years since i last saw you" she say loudly

"its been a week not a year you dumbass! i missed you too" I hug her tight

"You know we need to do some shopping before we go back to school on monday, who knows a new guy may arrive" she winks

"if you knew" I say softly

"what was that?" she ask turning to see me

"well about the 'who knows a new guy arriving' thing, i met a guy called Zayn on the plane and he moved here for his father business and hes attending our school" I sit down in the passenger seat after putting the bags on the back seat

"Ohhh i see someone already have her eyes on the guy" she winks and then laugh

"Yeah yeah right. Anyway, are you crazy or something? christmas just passed and you are thinking on buying more clothes what is wrong with that head of yours" I scold her

"Well now its not me who wants to impress someone so i guess you need something fancy to wear" He nudge me with her elbow

"Trust me i dont want to impress him. he just got here, enough drama to deal with at school" I roll my eyes at her

"Okay as much as i want to talk with you, the airport isnt the best place to chat so lets grab lunch and head home" she starts the car and speed of the airport into the highway

Its freezing so Hazel turns the heat on, I had forgotten to grab a coat. To our luck, there wasn't much trafic so we arrive to our destiny quickly

"So Scarlett tell me about this new Zayn guy" She start the topic again about him

"Theres not much to say we just talked on the plane and then he told me he was going to our high school and then he introduced me to his parents and when i was about to leave he asked for my number. That was it" I say avoiding her gaze, I know what she will say

"And you gave your number to a complete stranger you met at the plane?" She raise her eyebrow at me

"Well he isnt much of a stranger, i mean we talked the major part of the flight and hes a really nice funny and charming guy, plus hes going to our high school so i dont thinks theres any harm for him to know at least one person"

"Okay then, i cant wait to meet your new friend" She giggles

I stay silent thinking about tomorrow and Zayn arrival to school. I keep wondering about what he told me earlier about people using him for his money and it really upset me how people dont want to know the real him. I really hope people in my school have more head than his old 'friends'.

A sudden loud laugh through the car windows make me snap back to see the one and only Beverly Johnson talking to a guy on a bike with a black leather jacket and dark sunglasses, one of the many guy types of her

"That bitch" Haz snarl making me laugh

"Cant deny the truth" I shrug

We get home and the first thing I do is throw myself down in the couch and close my eyes, I've missed the scent of it

"I missed this place" i say looking around. I notice there are a few new stools by the kitchen

"Its not the same without you Sacr" She seats beside me "My mom gave me those chairs for christmas, lovely present huh?" She says as she see me staring at the kitchen

I laugh at her comment "We needed these for the kitchen anyway"

"I'll leave you alone for a while im going to Aidens to get my stuff from there" She stands up and grabs her purse

I look back at her "Oh alright ill get a shower and organize my things for school tomorrow"

"Ugh school can to hell" she say rolling her eyes and heading to the door "See ya later" she yell closing the door behind her.

I get in the shower and close my eyes letting my tensed shoulders relax. I wash my hair and stand still for about 20 minutes when my phone ringtone interrupts by its loud annoying ringtone. I put the towel around my body and dry my hair. I step out of the bathroom and the phone start ringing again so I rush over to the bedside table and pick it up to see an unknown caller on the screen.

"Hello?" I asked

"Hi-uh hello is this Scarlett Rowe?" The voice speaks. Its a males voice

"Yeah its me, Zayn?" I ask

"Yeah its Zayn, i thought you gave me a random number just to get rid of me" He chuckles

I think for a while before answering "Why would i do that? You are a nice guy and we are going to start seeing each other at school, besides im not an evil bitch who wants nothing but your money and last name" I say laughing at his ridiculous thought

He chuckle again and I can imagine his lovely smile at the other side of the line "I liked talking to you Scarlett, you are an interesting girl"

"Oh really? How so?" he takes a deep breathe and speaks "Well you let me sit with you like it was nothing and then you told me about you as if we knew each other from years ago but then you told me its difficult for you to open up to people so i dont know you tell me why you are interesting" he laugh a bit

I shake my head at his comment "Anyway hows the city treating you? How about your new home?"

"Its okay so far but its freezing and we dont have the heater installed yet so its ten times worst. The place is nice and quite big though, i have my own room with a balcony that connects to the roof, its amazing" he sound happy

"Im glad you like it so far. And you need to invite me over to see your amazing big boy room with the balcony" I say teasingly

"Its easier with you now-i mean - uh i" he stutter "you can come over on friday after school if you want, you can bring your friend too" He says nervously

"Sound like a plan. Okay so i need to organise my things for school, ill talk to you tomorrow. Call me if you need anything or have any question"

"Okay Scarlett thanks goodnight"

"Goodnight" i hang up. I keep smiling like a fool while I organise my bag and set my alarm at 5 am but before i save his number in my contacts

I text a message to Hazel, I don't know when she will be back

*Haz im going to sleep now im tired. Dont arrive too late we need to wake up early tomorrow. Love you :)x*

I turn off my phone and drift to a deep sleep
