"Aughhhhh!" I shriek, covering my eyes from the sun. I wish I could always wake up like this, surrounded by fluffy pillows and cozy blankets. Lauren and Kelsey come in with Stacey trailing in right behind them.

"Let's get you ready for breakfast." Lauren says.

It's been five days since that first dinner, and I could not be happier. The food is amazing, the workers are so nice, and the Prince is well... super cute. I have fallen into a routine of breakfast, a language lesson, lunch, time in the ladies room, dinner prep, dinner, go to the library, bed, sleep. repeat. There is just something about not having to deal will everything that is just, nice.

Today the Prince will announce who is going home, I think I made a good first impression, but I can never be too sure. So I wear a nicer dress than usual. Lately some girls have been dressing pretty scandalous, and I think they are worried about being sent home. My maids and I spent some time two night ago discussing dresses I want, this one is the first one that we have come up with together.  It's a two piece floral dress, the top is a crop top tank top that has no back, and the straps tie up around my neck. The bottom is a skirt that flares out, and goes a little less then halfway between my knees and hips. Yes, I admit the backless is kind of scandalous but compared to everyone else it is not so I think I am okay.

"Thanks Lauren! Thanks Kelsey! Thanks Stacey!" I call over my shoulder after they finish curling my hair. I give a quick hug to Stacey while she finishes dusting the drawer. I shut the door, and hear it click behind me.

"Hi Sir- woah, what's the occasion?" I ask, noticing he is not in the typical navy palace guard uniform. Instead Ryan has a light blue and white button up with tan pants. He looks good in them too...

Snap out of it Saige! You are here for one person and one person only, the prince.

"It's a dress down day, we get them once in a while. "

"Well you look goo- nice." I respond quickly changing my answer. It's hard not to think Ryan is good looking, but I have to stay focused.

"Shall we?" he asks pointed towards the direction of breakfast.

"We shall." I respond. We walk in rhythm together. "What's your family like?"

"It's kind of small, just me, my two younger sisters and my dad. My mom died a couple years ago.

"Oh, I am so sorry. I can relate, sort of. How old are they?"

"Seventeen and fourteen. Courtney, the seventeen year old, was so disappointed when she couldn't enter." He looks around at all the nice artwork. "She would love this kind of thing."I nod and continue to walk in rythme with him. "Wait how can you relate?"

"My dad died a couple years ago."

"Oh, I am sorry." We both can communicate genuine sympathy and understanding, in words we both have heard often. "What do you have for siblings?"

I light up, "And older brother Owen, and a younger sister Abigail. I love them to pieces."

"I feel the same way, defiantly a protective older sibling."

"I am defiantly the protective middle sibling." He laughs, which I hope is a good sign.

Slowly other girls stream in as we make our line up for breakfast. We typically eat breakfast and lunch without the royal family, but I see Prince William in the corner sometimes watching us. Then they join us at dinner.

But today they are all seated with us, so we know they are announcing who is going home.

After everyone sits down Prince William announces, "May I have everyone's attention?"

We dart up from our small talk and look straight at him, doing a quick fix to our posture and hair.

"Thank you," he says. "As you know in this round 5-10 girls will be eliminated. Now in when I am announcing them. If your name is called please eat breakfast, say your goodbyes, pack, and meet me at the palace gates by noon. Thank you for your time here.

So will:
Julie, twenty one, Alabama County
Mae, eighteen, Idaho County
Sydney, twenty one, Iowa County
Lucia, twenty Nebraska County
Isabella, eighteen, Vermont County
Elizabeth, nineteen, West Virginia County
Lila, twenty, Wisconsin County
please pack your bags? Again thank you for your time here."

Instantly five girls start crying while two scream. Everyone looks around at each other, in confusing and shock. Chrissy tries to calm them down but that doesn't quite work...

"AUGHHH I JUST WANT HIM TO LOVE MEEEE!!!" Mae shouts in between sobs.

"it's cause I from Al'bama ain't it?" Julie says, hands on her hips.

"Okay I guess I am just an imperfect horrible excuse for a human being." Sydney quietly says. Yikes.

Isabella just cries, I feel so bad for her. I didn't really make a connection with many people so far, but at least I knew more about her than her title. Lucia and Lila just stomp out, and I don't blame them. Elizabeth just pouts and mumbles. Chrissy ushers them out to another room, their guards fallow them. I hope it is not like this every time.

"Okay, um... Andrea, Holiday, and Saige can I see you for a minute." he asks.

Panic runs through me, what if he says we were almost eliminated? The three of us plus the seven eliminated would have been ten... Holidays eyes show fear as she walks over to where I am coming from, we walk together while Andrea is in front of us. She doesn't even flinch, like a perfect, spoiled stone.

"I called you here because..."
