"Your maids did such a good job on the dresses!" Holiday says, spinning around in her navy long-sleeved dress. It stopped about five inches below her waist. Then she had navy pumps to match. I had an identical dress, just a fiery red color. Then we sported matching diamond flag necklaces and headbands. I sent in a design for the royal jewelers to make, since I could. They had turned out great and I was so proud. They were so excited when we wanted them to make our dresses. I was so happy that they were happy. Abigail's dress matched ours except hers was a creamy white.
"I can't wait for our little surprise!" I squeal, twirling in my own dress.

"You ladies did such an amazing job!" Chrissy says gushing over our setup. We were down here early making last minute changes, tweaking things."I could not have planned it better myself." The Queen says, carefully poking through the flower bouquets.
"Holiday and I have a little surprise for you..." I say, catching Holidays eye.
"Yes, Saige designed-"
"We designed."
"Saige designed it, she is just being shy." I blush a deep red from embarrassment. "We have matching necklaces for you to wear. That way we thought people could identify us as the hosts. Also me and Saige's dresses kind of match too."
"It is inspired by The United Kingdom of America's flag, with a very tiny diamond star." I inspect the tiny circle I designed, with little stripe indents, and the glimmering star at the top. "We would be ecstatic if you would wear them, if they don't match your outfits we understand..."
"I would love to wear them! This is so thoughtful." Chrissy says, tears welding up in her eyes.
"I feel the same." The Queen says. Holiday and I each take a box and show them the necklace, then put it on them.
"We look stunning!" Holiday sequels.
"I am extremely excited for my guests!" I say, straightening out the tablecloth.
"Who are they?" Holiday asks.
"A surprise..."

"SAIGE!!!!" Abigail screams, running into my arms. "I took a plane by myself! The flight lady was so nice! She gave me pretzels and ginger ale! I just thought that that stuff was for when I am sick but I guess not! Do you have my dress? Where is your room? Where is my dress? This place is so pretty! I missed you!" She rambles into my shoulder, hugging me."Abigail I love you, but if you keep crying we won't be able to go get your dress and your hair done before the party starts!"
"Let's go!" I hold her hand, leading her through the castle, pointing out different rooms and peering outside at the display. We take the long way so I can show her the Ladies Room. "And this is my room..." I say opening the two french doors. I take it in through her eyes, a fluffy white bed with a silky canopy and a mound of pillows. A wall with dresses lining from one end to the other, a door leading to a bathroom. A vanity with sparking lights and jewelry designs strewn across it. Two small white nightstands. And my personal touch, a huge wooden 'S' covered in photos. Abigail scurries over to my bed, pointing out each photo rattling a story about it. The only ones she can't say something about us one of just me and Owen and one of the family in Disney.
"Hi Miss Abigail."
"Hi Miss Abigail."
"Hi Miss Abby."
"Sorry," Lauren says. "We have been trying to get it right this whole morning! But your here, and it's our time to get you ready.
"Yay!" She puts on a big smile as my maids get her ready. They paint her nails and braid her hair into a braid crown. She gets a little makeup, just enough to be noticeable but still seem natural. Then they put her in the dress, and she walks out of the bathroom all smiles.
"I LOVE IT!!!" she squeals, twirling and singing.

"I am so happy they got along." I say to Daphne, as Abigail and Samantha start playing bean bag toss against each other, while Daphne and I talk and snack."You know, my father really admires you. I think he wishes I was more family based." She says with a light laugh.
"My dad would admire if you if he was here, you are so independent and strong." I say, munching on another fried eggplant. I loved them so much I just had to add it to the selection of fruit, cheese, and other appetizers.
"He says he wants to make an alliance, but only if you are Queen." she blurts.
I cough, "What?!?" I whisper hoarsely. I take a sip of my English tea, the Queens favorite.
"And he told your king that...."
"OMG! He is going to be so suspicious!"
"I know, I told him not to do it but 'he doesn't take orders from a princess'"
"I didn't think he liked me before, now he sure won't like me now!"
*******************************************
"We would like to make a toast!" Holiday says in her commanding loud voice. "To helpful hosts and tea parties.""To old family, new friends, and anyone in between." I add.
"To bouquets and croquet."
"And The United Kingdom of America, thank you for joining us."
******************************************
"Saige, I don't wanna go!" Abigail cries."Shhh, I will see you soon."
"I am going to miss you so much!"
"I love you, and I will write you more than I used to." I say feeling guilty about how many times I wrote her.
"I love you. Keep up whatever you are doing, you are ready to be a Princess."
"She sure is" Will's recognizable voice says, rapping his arms around my waist.
"I knew it! I knew it! He likes you and you like him!" She does her mini happy dance. "I knew it!"
"The name is Prince William Brice Young Belmont-Hilston of The United Kingdom of America. It is a pleasure to meet you Miss Abigail." he extends his hand for a handshake but gets a hug instead.
"He knows my name!" She whispers to me. I laugh. They would be happy as siblings in law. Abigail would be so happy. She deserves this kind of life. Much more than I do at least.
