"Hey Piper!" I say, as she walks in the women's room. "What's up with your hair?" I ask confused. Her previously blond hair was streaked with red and brown.
She looks quickly to her right, then says "it's nothing, yea it's nothing." I shrug it off and go back to my book. Piper sits very uncomfortably in her seat, her eyes always flickering the the right. We are all flying out today for family weekend, but since my flight isn't for a while I am hanging out here. I take a look at all the girls, everyone is so excited. There is always tension in this room, and for once it's nice that it is replaced with a lot of happy girls. The girls drift out in clumps, Piper jumps up quickly and makes a beeline for the door.
I will never know what made her so uncomfortable she decided to stay home and not come back, I will not see her, at least until the engagement party. But even then, I never got the chance to ask...

"Oh no, Summer! What happened to your leg?" Casper asks.
"I am okay, there was these shards of something in my dress, and they all shook out on to me and cut myself. I don't know how they got there. I have some here," she says pointing to below her ribs." And here," she says pointing to behind her shoulder.
"Thats so strange," Norah pipes up.
"Yea," Andrea says smacking her gum. "Totes."
"Huh." I say thinking back to Piper.
"It's alright, my maids did a good job of getting them all out. That hurt though." She admits.
"How about we gets some hot chocolate? I am in the mood and it always makes me feel better." Austyn says.
"I could go for some of that." Peyton and I say at the exact same time. "Jinx! Pickle Jinx" We both laugh, and soon other girls join in.
"Hot cocoa coming right up!" Edie says, pressing the intercom button. "The eight ladies of the women's room request your best hot chocolate."
"With marshmallows!" Casper adds.
"With marshmallows, and whipped cream. To the side." Edie adds giggling. "Presto!" She lifts her finger off the intercom. Soon two maids come in each carrying four mugs, and eight mini dishes. We distribute them, and drink them in a setting of anything but silence. We start up card games, talk about Will, talk about the guards.... overall a successful time in the ladies room.

I lift the front of my heavy dress and slip into some shoes. I feel off balanced but it's probably nothing, just clumsy me. I make my way from the ladies room to dinner, uncomfortably. When I start walking down the stairs I trip, and roll my ankle.
"Miss Saige!" A nearby maid and Will comes over.
"Are you okay Saige?" Will asks concerned.
"Yea." I say wincing. "Would you mind if I just took dinner in my room?"
"Good idea Miss, I will get a tray sent up to your room right away." The maid scurries off. The selected look at me, some jealous that Will is half carrying me, some in pity that I am hurt.
"I will carry you up to your room."
"I don't think that's a good idea there are like three flights of stairs..."
"Okay, we can compromise." Will says scooping me up bridal style. He carries me over to the stairs then gently and slowly sets me down. I lift up my left ankle, and support myself on the railing and Will. It took us along time, I would have to pause every now and then, but we made it up to my room. The maids rush over to me, when they see I am not at dinner. "Could you grab some ice? And a towel?" Will lifts me on to my bed and sits down next to me, putting a pillow under my ankle. Lauren raps it up in a towel and ice pack, then brings over my food, and Wills food. We talk and eat, and my foot feels better when I go to get ready for bed. I look at my heels and there is about a half of an inch cut or of one end, and another half inch ready to come off too.
"So strange..." I wonder. I ditch heels for a couple days and wrap my foot up, and then it's make to normal.
