I decided to take lunch in my room. Thanksgiving was close and I was feeling homesick again. This did not happen to me very much before I was an Elite. I don't know why it's happening now. I have my brocoli Alfredo in a tray on the little bench in front of my bed, Abigail and Owen's two recent letters to my left with stuff to write them back, and my planning for the Ladies Tea to the right. I am overwhelmed and kinda sad and just laying there not getting anything done.

knock knock

"Come in!" I shout, assuming it is one of my maids checking in. But it's someone much better.

"Hey Saige." Will says, in a strangely husky voice. Either he needs a glass of water or....

"Hey." I say, trying to smile.

"Why are you sad?"

"I am not sad, I am happy to be here."

"Gosh Saige, be real with me!"

"I am just so overwhelmed." I say, breaking down and bursting into tears.

"What if I help you?"

"Huh?"

"I can write what you want the letter to your family to say, like a scribe," he says motioning to my blank paper and pen. "And you can look through the flowers and what not for the project."

"Okay... This is so embarrassing. I am supposed to be able to handle this kind of stuff if I ever become queen... "

"Well wouldn't Abigail love that she has something that I wrote. I can even add in a little p.s. from me." he says smiling to himself, clearly proud of his idea.

"How you you start of your letters?"

"Hi Abigail! Then say the whole scribe thing."

"Okay done."

"How are you, any updates from the doctors." I circle some flowers with my sharpie and start to chew on the top. My only nasty habit. Will nods along when he is done. "How is dance going? What performances are there going to be and when are they?" I scribble some notes in my pretty little notebook. "The castle has been so good. My maids are so good to me, almost too good. I tried scallops for the first time! It was kinda rubbery and slimy. I do not think I am a fish person." I flip to the foods section of the magazine of everything the castle has to offer. "I am currently planning Ladies Tea. Holiday and I have decided that each selected can bring three guests, and the Queen can too of course. I am hoping to bring you, of course. I arranged with the Queen to take some payment out of the incoming check so my maids can make a dress for you. When you come up we will dart into my room and you can change. I will give you a more formal tour later." I tap my pen thinking about the foods we should have. "You are going to be so excited, the food here is to die for. You will be sad to go back to Owen's cooking and eventually mine. When it's all over, you will be disappointed I can't give you this." I whisper, "I wish I could Abigail, I wish I could." I finally decide on having tea sandwiches and an a soup and salad buffet. Then we have tea (obviously) and a selection of wine and other beverages. Holiday decided she would do all the decoration with table setting and flowers and I would plan the food and games. We show each other everything we do to work out kinks and make sure it seems good. "Prince William is very cute, and yes, I do have feelings for him. You heard about the horseback riding dates but we also have had many mini talks in between meals in my room and we even watched a movie once. I feel like I know more than just his surface and that is really nice. You know I haven't felt that in a while..." I stop dead remembering he is writing this. "Shoot I completely forgot you where writing this!" My cheeks flush red and I facepalm.

"Know worries, it is good knowing the girl I currently like, likes me back and thinks I am cute." he says winking. He lays down next to me and holds my face, then kisses me hard. His lips are so soft. I can tell he likes being more dominant and in control. But being the Prince and all I would expect that. "There are so many ways this could go bad."
