The veins around her eyes started popping black as fangs started emerging from the top and bottom of her teeth. Her curse for bloodlust ineluctably conquering her tiniest shed of humanity.

"Please, spare me," her victim pleaded for his life.

Compelling him to shut up, she dived unhesitantly to his neck and drank every drop of his blood until he was drained. Once she was done, she wiped off the remaining trickles of his blood and tossed him aside like trash.

"Hayley?" She turned around to face the man who helped her fought through her inhumanity, Jay.

Hanging her head low, she walked towards him with her shoulders slumped. Feeling the disappointment aura emitting out of the man, she knew that another lecture was going to come about.

She followed as her boyfriend walked back to an unknown apartment. As he entered the house, her steps were denied by an unseen boundary. That was the cons of being a vampire; you can't enter a territory belonging to a human without their invitation.

"I can't come in," she complained as she stood at the front door. Jay turned around and faced his girlfriend. His eyes burning with disappointment and uncertainty, "what am I to do with you, my love? I have granted you everything and yet you can't grant me one thing? And that being to stop feeding on the innocent? To when are you going to wild out until I become your target?"

"No, that's not possible. I will never do that," she protested.

Not being able to trust her, he took out a penknife from his pocket and slashed his wrist deep enough to have blood oozing out of it. Purpose: to tempt his girlfriend who claimed to have control over her own lust when it came to the man she loves.

Blood oozing, he watched his girlfriend's face changed beastly, this time, her eyes turned crimson red and her pupils enlarged.

Panting madly, she tried to advanced towards him but once again to no avail as she still wasn't invited to the house. After realizing her own actions, she regretted immediately.

"It's not my fault!" She screamed in anger.

It was the truth. Being a vampire was from the beginning against her will. As the world's most dangerous creature, most of them was turned by their own being who only craved for nothing but love and revenge, in which was mostly denied.

Jay have seen her getting fed with blood by another vampire when she was unfairly killed by an enemy. And to turn into one, she had to either die with a vampire's blood in her system or be fed with blood and die afterwards to wake up as a vampire. Only negative catch, once you wake up, you have to feed on human's blood to transition fully into a vampire or else you'll die.

When Jay made the decision to allow Hayley live again but as a vampire, it was as though he made a deal with the devil. And every deal with the devil has a price to pay; his girlfriend's bloodlust was it.

Having enough of her wayward ways, he decided once and for all. No more innocent lives have to be sacrificed for her own survival. No more tourists have to be compelled to forget that they encountered a vampire during their vacation. No human deserved to have their freedom of memory stripped off against their will. No human deserved to be killed for one else's life.

"I'm sorry, Hayley," he spoke with sadness in his tone.

Confused, she studied his face and off guard, he shot her by the heart. Though shock, she knew it was the right thing to do. Flashes of her life played in her head as she dropped down on the floor, slowly becoming lifeless. Her body turning grey, her veins through her whole body popping black, her skin turning warm, she burned into ashes as she mouthed, "I love you."

He picked up what remained of her when she had entirely burnt; ashes. Collecting them and keeping them in a jar as he cried uncontrollably. Feeling the intensified pain, he was reminded of the time where he never thought he would be the one to end her life, especially when he made the decision to bring her back to life.

"I love you too, Hayley. I will always love you."
