My jaw drops when I see the person standing in front of us. We're just frozen. Lila's standing there with a smirk on her face. Oh god.

"Lilaaa" we say awkwardly. Mason runs his hands through his hair. "That wasn't what it looked like" we add.

"Really, it looked like you two were swapping saliva" she said.

"Don't call it that" I say grossed out. "And..." I add not finishing the sentence.

"And, Maddie was asked if she was a good kisser and asked me to help" Mason said I give him a look.

"Like she'd go to you first...tell me what's going on now" she said looking more at me.

"You can't tell anyone" we say she shrugs. "We're secretly dating" we add in. Her jaw drops.

"Actually, I thought you guys were just kissing...because...wait, OMG yesssss" she said. "Took you two long enough" she said.

"Don't tell Nathan" we said quickly.

"Why?" She asked confused.

"Because we think he'll hate us for it" Mason said.

"Why would he?" She asked again.

"So many question, and it's obvious I'm his best friend that's his sister. I'm a player and it would be weird" Mason said she shrugs.

"I think it's just adorable...I've been waiting for so long" she squeals like a fan girl. I roll my eyes but smile a little.

"You have?" Mason asked she nods.

"Why aren't you in class?" I asked her.

"I went to look for you because you weren't there all lunch" she shrugs.

"Right."

"Yeah...well we should probably get going" she said I nod in agreement.

"The teachers definitely is gonna think we have problems, we're always the ones late" I say to Mason he shrugs.

"It's called lying Maddie...learn it" he said and starts to walk away I glare at his retreating figure.

"I can't believe you didn't tell me" she said pushing me with a smile on her face.

"It was a secret now let's go" I said.

"Well I have a different class then you so bye" she said and went the other way I caught up with Mason.

"I can't believe that just happened" I say.

"Yeah, and who knows to go to the back of the school" he laughs I nod in agreement we get to our class now almost 15 minutes late. I sighs and open the door the teachers looking at the board but all the kids are looking at us. I'm about to attempt a get away but I fail.

"Mm...why are you two late?" He asked putting his hands on his hips.

"I'm gonna be honest with you" Mason said I look at him he's leaning against the doorframe. "And say...I saw a Pegasus out there and I couldn't stop watching it, it was beautiful..so we got sidetracked" he shrugs. Way to not help the situation. People in the class laugh.

"Very funny, how would you two like to go follow to Pegasus to detention" he said. I roll my eyes.

"At least we get to see it again..." Mason shrugs and he hands out detention slip and we leave.

"You're always the one to say things and I get in trouble also" I mutter.

"It's detention chill it's not that bad" he said nudging me.
