My (Brothers) Best Friend

Nap

"Can I just take a shower with you?" He asked I laugh.

"No I'm fine" I say he's now laying on my bed.

"But" he starts.

"No buts" I say and walk into the bathroom. I go and take a shower.

After that I change into some sweatpants and tank top. I go out and Mason's laying on the bed one arm over his eyes.

"You're still here" I laugh.

"Would you like me to leave?" He asked not moving from his position.

"No, just asking" I shrug and lay next to him. He turns and puts an arm around me.

"Can we take a nap?" He asked.

"You can" I reply. "I'm not tired."

He just doesn't say anything and closes his eyes snuggling next to me. I just go through my phone. I have a couple text from Lila.

Lila: hey, wanna hang out tomorrow after school?

Me: yeah sure

I go then go through my Instagram bored out of my mind.

Lila: whatcha doing right now?

Me: nothing Mason's taking a nap

Lila: ooh Mason's over??

Me: yeah

Lila: and he's takin a nap?

Me: yeah he wanted me to take one with him and I said I wasn't tired but I'm re-thinking that because I kinda am and I'm bored

Lila: go take a nap with your bae

Me: you're a loser but I am going to byeeeeee

Lila: bye!

I shut off my phone and close my eyes to fall asleep.

I wake up and Mason is still asleep his arm lazily on my stomach other one kinda behind my back his heads also on my stomach. I laugh a little he looks like a little kid.

I look at the time 7:35. I don't know how to move without waking him up. I just sit there silently not moving. He'll get up soon I'll just wait. I go through my phone just waiting. I look down at him again and he looks so cute just sleeping there. I smile and take a picture of him.

After a little while he finally stirs awake with a yawn. He rubs his eyes like a kid.

"How long have I been asleep?" He asked.

"2 hours" I reply. He looks up at me.

"Did you sleep?" He asked.

"Yeah woke up like 20 minutes ago" I reply.

"You're very comfortable to sleep on" he says I laugh.

"I don't know if I take that as a compliment" I say.

"You should" he says he grabs his phone going on it. His head still on my stomach.

"You look like a little kid when you sleep" I say.

"I don't know if I should take that as a compliment" he looks up at me again.
