Friday
Today...another day...another sad day missing Mason. Seeing him walk around the halls.
"Maddie are you okay?" I hear Ryan's and Lila's voice ask. I blink and look at them.
"I'm fine."
"That's never a good answer" Ryan said.
"Yeah agreed" she said.
"Im actually fine guys" I say maybe I'm not but I don't want them on me about Mason. He looks good today. He's wearing his regular outfit his hair messy. He looks tired and bored. Then someone blocks my view. Andrew.
"What?" I asked looking up at him.
"What's up with you lately, you've been like...weird and I never see you with douchebag aka Mason anymore" he said.
"That's none of your business if I'm not hanging out with him and I'm fine" I snap. He backs up a little.
"Geez sorry" he puts his hands up in defence.
"I'm gonna go to class" I mutter and pull my bag up on my shoulder and go to my class.
I sit down in my seat and just wait there on my phone.
"So...I see you've backed off of Mason" I hear the annoying high pitched voice I look up to meet eyes with Georgie. "Have you finally come to your senses about him that he's mine and not into you?" She asked her hands on her hips.
"I'm surprised you haven't come to your senses yet that he doesn't want you...but I guess it's what you think so I won't bother you" I reply bitterly.
"Okay Madeline or whatever your name is just cause he's playing hard to get means nothing he definitely wants me...you're just jealous" she said.
"Believe me I am not do what you want" I mutter and look back down at my phone. I hear her walk back. I roll my eyes. Today is gonna suck I just know it. I look through my Instagram and pass a photo Luke posted of Mason him and Cameron. Masons laughing at something and he looks so good. I hesitate and like it and move past it.
"Maddie..." I hear the familiar voice of Ryan. I look up quickly.
"What?" I asked.
"You okay?" He asked.
"I told you guys I'm fine" I reply.
"I know you aren't" he said sitting in his seat next to me. "You shouldn't be thinking about him" he said.
"I know that, and I try but it's hard" I say back. "It's been like already almost a week and I hate everyone and the whole time I've been crying or I'm not talking to anyone" I say.
"I know that, and that's why I was thinking tonight Lila told me there was a party and maybe we should go" he said I shake my head.
"No way" I said. "He might be there and I'll most likely have a break down in the middle of it and cry everywhere" I say.
"You won't Lila and I won't let you, so cmon it'll probably be good for you to let loose and not have to think of him" he urges. I look away for him for a second and as I do Mason enters the room of course. Maybe he's right. Maybe it's better if I go so I don't think about him.
"Ok" I mutter.
"Good I wouldn't take no for an answer" he tells me. Mason passes me. And he smells like his usual cologne I feel sad again. Everyone soon comes in followed by the teacher and we start our lesson.

It's now lunch I sit there eating my pizza every now and then I glance at Mason.
"So you agreed thank god I'm coming over after school and we can get ready together" Lila smiles.
