  My mouth parts and I glare at my mom and the person next to her...Dan, my dad.

"What the fuck" I say.

"Maddie, can you please not right now...you're staying so we can all talk" she tells me.

"I don't wanna talk" I reply angrily. My day has been bad enough don't ruin it more.

"Maddie, please just stay" she said. "We need to talk" she adds. I turn back my face full of anger. They sit down.

"So, hey guys" he said we stay silent. "I needed to talk to you guys, because I know what I did was rude and horrible and you might not forgive me but I am truly sorry" he said. I take a deep breath from having a break down. I clench my utensils hard. "And I was telling your mom I wanted to be back in your guys' lives, and to be great" he said I grip it even tighter my knuckles turn white. "And I love you guys and I am sorry and I want to be back in your life and I want you guys to know this I may have been horrible to you guys and your mother but I'm sorry and I love you guys" he takes a breath before starting again. And that's it for me.

"Bullshit!!" I yell angrily getting up. "You don't love us this is an act you asshole, you don't leave your kids when they're young and need there parents just to go fuck around with his assistant" I say angrily. "You cheated on my mother and you repulse me, you're a liar a cheater and a fucking pig, we don't need you in our lives well at least I don't I don't want such a gross asshole in my life. You've never loved us" I burst out.

"Maddie" mom said.

"No, you shouldn't have forgiven him because he's nasty and I'm actually even more mad at you for doing that because now I know that you'd forgive a cheating pig after what he's done to the whole family not just you but us.." I say. "We were kids you don't think we needed both of our parents, you wonder why Nathan's such a pig who sleeps with everyone well you got it you wonder why I can't trust anyone and now I don't even think I can trust you especially after how I told you I don't want to talk to him or see him again and you bring him to dinner" I say now sad. "I'm leaving you can do what you guys want but I don't want you in my life" I mutter bitterly and turn around grabbing my phone and leaving the kitchen. I slip my shoes on quickly and leave. Tears stream down my face of anger. I can't believe she did that after what I said about how I didn't want to see him or talk to him.

I walk down the sidewalk wiping my tears. Why does everything have to be ruined somehow.

I soon get to the house. I go up to the roof and see a figure there. What?? I move up a little to get closer to see the person turns around it's Mason. His eyes are bloodshot red like he's been crying.

"Maddie?" He said more as a question.

"I was just going" I mutter turning around.

"Can you stay?" He asked I stand in my spot. He hurt you Maddie. But he's crying. But he hurt you. But he's crying. He hurt you. He's crying. I turn around.

"Why?" I ask.

"I wanna talk to you" he replied. I take a deep breath and then I go and sit a foot away from him.

"Why did you come up here" his face was turned from me he wiped it and then looks at me.

"Family" I mutter. "You?" I asked wanting to cry all over again just hearing his voice again is amazing.

"It's my sisters birthday" he mutters I look at him with wide eyes.

"You have a sister, and why are you crying on her birthday?" I asked.

"Well I had a sister she died" he replied my lips part.

"W-Mason I'm sorry you never told me" I reply.
