One Direction is the best

I wake up with a headache from I don't know what or why. I groan and shut my eyes tightly. Maybe it's from crying last night. I sit up and grab my phone. Today's the day Lila and mark go on a date. Right now it's 11:13. I slide out of bed and go into the washroom. I take a warm shower then brush my teeth and put on some sweatpants and a white plain crop top. I grab my phone and go downstairs after putting my hair into a high ponytail. I walk into the kitchen Nathan's sitting there eating cereal and scrolling through his phone. I guess Mason never came back.

"Morning" I mumble. I make myself a coffee he looks up.

"Hey, what was up with you last night?" He asked.

"Nothing" I reply.

"Was it about the whole dad thing?" He asked. I nodded. "She told me last night when you left and after Mason left for home" he said. He said he was going home.

"Yeah, what are your thoughts on it?" I asked. He shrugs.

"I don't wanna see him obviously, but there's nothing I can do to get him out of here" he said looking back at his phone. I finish making my coffee I stand there.

"Bro, I almost just hit a dog" Mason walks into the kitchen he looks up and meets my eyes. Oh god this is awkward I look away. Nathan looks up at Mason and laughs.

"How?" He asked.

"It's pretty obvious because he's stupid" I say trying to get things back to normal he rolls his eyes.

"Ha. Ha" he said "I was singing, loudly and closed my eyes for a second when I opened them there was a dog so I obviously slammed on the breaks and their owner got really mad at me" he laughed. Only Mason.

"Idiot" Nathan mumbles. I sip my coffee pulling my phone out and I text Lila.

Me: date tonight I'm excited for you ;)

Lila: oh god I'm scared

Me: don't be it'll be great I'll come over at 4

Lila: ok sounds good..

I put my phone away masons now sitting down by Nathan. We meet eyes again. Why did this have to be awkward. I cough awkwardly and leave the kitchen. I head up to my room with my coffee in my hand. I take a sip then put it on my desk. I put my phone into my speaker putting my playlist on to play Sunday morning almost afternoon. I'm ready. I go into my closet and sing along to the music and I grab my jeans and I put those on and keep my plain white crop top on. Then my song comes on.

One Direction: heart attack comes on.

"BABY YOU GOT ME SICK, I DONT KNOW WHAT I DID NEED TO TAKE A BREAK AND FIGURE IT OOUUT, YEAH" I sing/shout out. I dance around the room.

One Direction will always and forever be my baes. Harry styles is main bae.

I continue belting out the song.

"IM TRYIN TO BE OKAYY, IM TRYIN TO BE ALRIGHT, BUT SEEIN YOU WITH HIMM, JUST DONT FEEL RIGHT. AND IM LIKE OWWW NEVER THOUGHT IT'D HURT SO BAD, GETTIN OVER YOU OOH, AND OW YOU'RE GIVING ME A HEART ATTACK LOOKIN LIKE YOU DO OOH" I yell out taking my hair brush as my microphone.

Soon the song finishes and I hear clapping I turn and masons at the door frame.

"You creep, don't stare at me sing/yell and dance" I say throwing the brush at him he dodges it.

"I could hear you from downstairs, I came to tell you to shut up...you're literally breaking my eardrums with your horrible voice" he said I glare at him.

"I'm not that bad" I lie I know I suck at singing but whatever.

"Yes you are" he states.

"Cool now leave" I say. "Before I start singing very loudly and obnoxiously to you" I say. "So I can make sure I break your eardrums for sure" I add. He rolls his eyes.

"Shut up, don't wanna hear you singing anymore, especially One Direction" he said.

"One Direction is amazing" I state proudly. "Now get lost" I said shutting the door on him thank god it's not awkward between us.

Soon time to go to Lila's to help her get ready. I grab my bag and stuff. I go downstairs.

"I'm going to Lila's, so don't do anything stupid...which I doubt you'll even listen to me" I said.

"How do you just walk everywhere?" Mason asked.

"She's picking me up idiot" I said.

"Oh" he mumbles. I nod and leave with a quick bye. I hop into her car.

"Hey bitch" I say she laughs.

"Hey" she replied. "I'm so nervous" she sighs.

"Don't be" I say. "You guys will have fun and it'll be great" I reassure her she nods trying to help herself out.

We soon get to her house and we go up to her room.

"So makeup and hair first" I say she nods.

"Wanna do my hair while I do my makeup?" She asked I nodded.

"I was thinking loose curls" I say she nods.

"Whatever you think is good" she said I nod. I grab the curling iron and she starts on her makeup.

I look at her with a wide grin.

"You look amazing?" I say. I turn her to look at herself in the full length mirror. She wearing a black skater girl dress it's fancy and not too fancy at the same time. Her hair is in loose curls she has not too heavy makeup on. She just looks perfect. She smiles.

"I do look good" she said I nod.

"Amazing, he's gonna be like DAYUUMM" I say she laughs.

"I have like 5 minutes...give me my shoes please" she said I hand her some flats she said she didn't want to go over the top with heals. So she's wearing black flats. She puts them on. She puts a lipstick in her purse and phone.

"Ok, I'll be at home...tell me everything later" I smile she nods. Then that's when we hear a knock at the front door I run downstairs. I open it. Marks standing there in front of me with a button down shirt and some jeans. He smiles at me.

"Hey" I simply say.

"Hey" he replied.

"She's gonna be just a sec" I say and close the door on him. Oops I open it again. "Sorry" I say and close it again. I go back to her.

"Come on" I nudge her.

"You aren't gonna walk home are you?" She asked. I nod.

"Obviously, who cares your man' waiting" I say I open it again. She's standing in front of him. His mouth opens a little bit I smirk widely.

"Whoa, you look amazing Lila" he said. She blushes and smiles.

"You look good also" she replied. Oh my god. Adorable.

"Ok, well you two go have fun...but not too much fun...don't do anything I wouldn't and I'd do a lot so" I say they laugh. "Byeeee" I say. They wave and leave. I smile. Good job Maddie, you've gotten 2 people together kinda. I then lock her door and start my walk back home.

When I get home I'm exhausted. I open the door and Mason and Nathan are sitting on the couch like always laughing at something. They look up once I've walked in.

"Hi idiots" I say.

"Hey" they reply. I go to the kitchen and get myself a water bottle then I come up with an idea. I grab 2 water bottle and open them. I walk past them and go behind them so they don't see me and pour the water on their heads. I smile when they turn around angry looks on their faces.

"Your welcome" I say and dash up the stairs and into my room I lock the door. I smile satisfied.

"Maddison" I hear them groan I laugh to myself. It's good to be me. I sit on my bed and bring my laptop out and continue watching teen wolf.

Shit I forgot my water and purse downstairs. It's fine, I don't wanna go down there who knows what they're gonna try to do to me.
