Dear Diary,

I don't know why have I done this, I have no idea I lied to them. especially, him. He was everything real in a world of make-believe.

I'll try to come clean as soon as possible, It'll be hard, but I think he'll understand. He truly cares for me, and I care for him too. I don't want to scare him away.

I closed the diary and put it in my bag. First, I'll figure out how to explain it to Dylan and Asher. Then, I'll find the right time, and the right way to say it to Phoenix.

In the meantime, I need to see Rose. I haven't seen her since.. that night.

I went everywhere, I checked the cafeteria, the gym, the music classroom, the bathroom. everywhere.

I heard the bell ring, and the students got out of their classroom like they've never seen the daylight. It's lunch now.

How many classes did I skip?

I went to our usual table, and spotted everyone. Including Rose.

She looks miserable.

I silently went to them and sat down beside Asher, and in front of Rose. She looked at me and tried to smile, but she failed and bursted into tears.

Nathan got up from his seat to sit beside her, and I went to hug her. Asher, Dylan and Phoenix sat there, not knowing what to do.

I don't blame them.

"Shhh, please calm down everything will be okay. Let's go to the bathroom" I told her softly then got up and went to the girls' bathroom.

The minute we got in there she cried again, and hugged me harder.

Rose Brooks, the sassy, sarcastic girl was crying her eyes out in the girls' bathroom. I never thought this day will ever come.

"V-Violet, you don't understand. I'm losing you Vi. What will I ever do w-without you?" She cried on my shoulder, I didn't know what to say so I just sat there on the ground, hugging her and stroking her hair.

"Please Rose.."

"Do you remember? t-the first time we met?" She let go of our hug and started remembering our first encounter with each other.

We were in second grade, I was the only new girl and of course, people made fun of me. Including this boy, called Travis.

When I got in the classroom our teacher made me sit next to him because it was the only seat available. So I did.

Travis started pulling on my hair, and breaking my crayons. When he broke my favourite crayon, the purple one, I cried in the middle of that classroom.

Ever since then people started calling me Diapers. I must say it wasn't creative.

But then one day my dad got me a new pack of crayons, and I showed them off to everyone. Travis saw how happy I was so he grabbed the pack and got the purple crayon out, ready to break it with his little fingers.

Not until a pretty raven haired girl came out of nowhere and pushed him. She was taller than almost all the boys in our class.

She told him "I will kick you in the face if you ever touch my friend again" and helped me to get up.

She asked me if I was okay, and I told her I was fine.

Ever since then, we became best friends.

"How could I forget?" I smiled at that memory.

"Violet, I'll miss you so much" She said. her voice was raspy from all the crying.

"I'll miss you more. But please, don't be sad.. You know I'll always be with you and Nathan. I'll come back as a ghost and check up on you every now and then" I tried to lighten up the mood, and it worked.

"Let's go back now, they might get worried" she said and went out for the door.

"Wait, fix your hair a little bit, we don't want Brandon little Biology boy see you like this" Brandon, that boy she had a crush on. I still don't like him though.

I'm a hardcore Rothan shipper. Nathan for the win!

***

We went back to our table with big smiles on our faces.

"Everything alright?" Phoenix asked looking at Rose, then at me. "Everything's alright" I said back and smiled, he smiled back. That stupid smile on that stupid nice looking face.

We ate and talked for a while until Phoenix texted me:

Did you think about the bucket list thing? Are we finishing it? 10:34 a.m

Why is he texting me when he's on the other side of the table from me?

I thought about that for a while, I think I might finish it. Like I said before I started writing it I don't want to leave this place sad.

Damn right we are finishing it Phoenix 10:37 a.m

I sent that text then I heard his phone beeping. He checked the message, then looked up from his phone. We stared at eachother, then broke it off with a smile.

Meet me in the school's parking lot right after the last bell. We're finishing this in under 3 months. You have my word, sugar 10:40 a.m

I don't know why, but I trust him. I also believe him.

Honestly, if he were someone else, then he told me that we'd finish a list full of 13 things in under 3 months, I wouldn't believe it.
