I got up, took a quick cold shower, brushed my teeth, got dressed, ate half an apple, then waited for Phoenix.

He texted me this morning, saying that he wants to give me a ride to school. He also said that his bike needs to be fixed so he'll pick me up with a car.

I kinda miss his bike.

It's 6:39 a.m now. And school starts at 7. I hope he'll come in time.

"What are you waiting for Violet?" My mom asked me from the kitchen.

"Oh, I didn't tell you. Phoenix wants to give me a ride to school" I casually said, then texted him asking where is he, he said he's almost there.

"Phoenix huh, what are you two?"

"Friends." I simply answered. "I think he likes you Violet, and I think you like him too" She said.

"No mom. we like each other as friends" I defended and she just laughed.

In case you were wondering, my mom is still bothering me with chemotherapy. But I'm still not doing it. I hope one day she'll respect my decision.

I heard the door bell ring, He's here. Thank god, he just saved me from the awkward conversation that I was having with mom.

"That's him, I'll see you later mom. I might come back late, I have to tutor Phoenix" I said then kissed her cheek.

"Just call me or text me if you'll be back after 8, Goodbye honey"

"Bye mom" I grabbed my backpack and left.

"Goodmorning, sugar" Phoenix greeted me. "Morning Phoebe"

"You had to ruin our cute moment, didn't you?" He hates being called Phoebe, especially when I call him that.

"What cute moment? we were literally greeting each other" I asked

"Exactly"

I smiled at his dorkiness, but something behind him caught my attention.

"That's your car?" I asked, not believing what's in front of me.

He had a freaking 458 Italia Ferrari.

"Yeah, it's mine" He said as if it was the most casual thing ever. "You have this thing and you still choose to ride the bike?"

"Just get in the car sugar"

I'm shook.

Phoenix Brightly's POV

Okay. I'm not actually taking her to school. We're skipping today.

What? it's the first thing on her bucket list, might as well finish it.

Yesterday, I told Asher and Dylan about everything, the fight, the almost-kiss, the date that she said no to. Dylan kept screaming "I knew he liked her!" and then Asher told him about the drawing. Which made him scream even louder if that was possible. But they came up with this brilliant idea.

I just have to wait for her to start No. 10, which is saying yes for the whole day, then I'll ask her on a date then. She won't be able to say no.

I took a turn, which she didn't realize because she was checking out the car, damn, if I knew that she loves it that much I would've ridden it all the time.

I plan on taking her to the waterfall, Asher showed Dylan and I this place a few months ago, and I think she'll love it, and maybe on the way back we'll stop by the beach to watch the sunset.

"Um.. Phoenix? where are we going?" She finally realized that we're not going to school.

"Sugar, you and I are finishing No.1, which is skipping school"
