"Excuse me?!" Rose yelled on the phone, I have to check my ears after this.
"Please come to my house now, bring Nathan too" I told her fast. "I will have to bring Dylan and Asher too, Vi" She said.
"Yeah, bring them too" I told her then we said our goodbyes.
Okay, I told Rose everything Jesse has told me. Well, I had to tell someone.
I still don't understand why Erica wants to ruin what I have with Phoenix, I mean, she has her boyfriend, her popularity, and her rats. What else could she possibly want more?
She's not gonna stop until she ruins your life, Violet.
I waited for my friends to arrive. So, in the meantime, I tried to take my mind off of Erica and learn some more words in Arabic.
It's still early, 12 p.m, but I feel tired.
Fifteen minutes passed until I heard the doorbell of my front door. I went down to open the door and I found the whole gang.
"Hey guys, come in" I invited them in, and once they were inside, all I heard was them yelling random sentences that consisted of: What the fuck, fucking bitch Erica, I'm gonna kill her.
And I swear I heard Asher's voice saying 'Imma slap that hoe'
"Guys please, shut up. We need to think this through!" I yelled out, and they all went quiet.
Thank goodness.
"I don't understand that girl, what does she want?" Rose said, slamming into the sofa. "She wants Phoenix" Dylan said.
"What? No, she has a boyfriend" Nathan stated, but the Asher argued, "No, she has tried multiple times to seduce Phoenix, but he wasn't giving her shit"
No fricking way.
"That's not possible, Asher. If it was Jesse would've known, then he'd broken up with her. That's high key cheating!" I told them, how can she be like that?
I thought she wanted Jesse.
"Do you really think a girl like Erica, would stick to one guy?" Dylan said, folding his arms.
"Vi, he's stating the facts" Asher continued. "Well, Jesse said that he heard her say 'I'll ruin what Phoenix and Violet have' but he couldn't hear anything more because she saw him" I said.
"Violet, you're the nerd here! can't you see that she's jealous?" Rose argued. "Jealous of me?" How can Erica, be jealous of me?
"You have Phoenix, and she doesn't. Plus, the whole school is talking about you both" Nathan explained.
This cannot be happening.
"Well, what should we do?" I asked, goddamnit Erica, why do you have to make my life so much harder than it's already is?
"I think we should keep you and Phoenix both away from her. And act like she doesn't exist. Phoenix has been acting like she's a wall since the beginning of the year but she isn't getting the memo" Dylan suggested. Then the sound of my phone ringing interrupted us. someone's calling me.
We all fell silent, looking at each other.
"Answer it" Asher said.
I went to grab my phone, checking who's the caller.
Phoenix Brightly
"Oh my god it's Phoenix" I said then let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding. Then Rose rushed to my side and frantically said "Oh my goodness answer it, and put it on speaker!"
