Phoenix taught me how to drive the bike, he said it's easy as long as I know how to ride a bicycle. Apparently, it's true.
It's just like riding a bicycle, only with no training wheels, and without pedalling.
I was planning on taking him to my thinking place. The hidden beach. But while I was driving I saw this giant store, and it looked newly painted from the outside. So, I parked the bike and got off.
"Where are we?" Phoenix asked. "We're not there yet, I just need to do something"
He got off too and followed me to this wall that had written on 'please don't touch'
So, I touched it.
"Why?" Phoenix asked and laughed at me, "No. 4" I replied. 'Break the rules for once'. Which only made him laugh harder.
"What? I broke the rules multiple times while hanging out with you, I just had to make it official" I said and laughed with him.
Let's see how many rules I broke,
- Skipping school
-Riding a motorbike with no license
-Going to an abandoned amusement park, which is illegal because it's trespassing
-Broke the rule of my last thing on my list, 'never fall in love'
Because at this exact moment, where I was laughing with Phoenix while my finger tip had some white wall painting on, I knew I fell in love.
Maybe I've already fallen, but only now do I realize that I'm floating on the air.
"Let's go back to the bike, we're wasting time, it's already 4 in the morning and we have school in 3 hours" I told him, then he grabbed my hand and we started running before someone saw us.
I continued driving this thing, with Phoenix's help of course. He kept asking me if I was going to kill him, so I replied with, "You never know" Déjà vu.
After long minutes of driving, we reached my hidden place. I took him down the hill, and then there we were, my thinking place.
"A hidden beach?" He asked, amazed from the view that's in front of him.
"I come here a lot to think, and I believe no one knows about it" I explained, then sat down on the sand.
"Do you remember when you took me to that hill, that you go a lot to?" I asked, and he nodded, sitting beside me.
"I thought I'd take you to my place, too" I said, then layed down and stared at the stars. "You were here that time you ran away and we looked for you, weren't you?" He asked.
"Yeah.. no one knows about this area, not even Rose or Nathan" I told him, and then smiled.
"What are we, Violet?" He asked, after a long silence.
What are we?
"I don't know" I answered, then he looked at me, "Do you feel anything towards me?" He asked.
"Phoenix.."
"I know you only have one thing left in your list, Violet. I know you don't want to fall in love. But I couldn't help but fall for you"
Oh no..
"Phoenix, we can't.. I.." I started. But I suddenly forgot how to talk. I tried to explain everything to him, but the words choked me.
"I know that you feel something, I know that.." He said again, more quietly now.
"I do have feelings towards you.. But we can't be together Phoenix, trust me, we can't"I told him, then held his hands, trying to explain everything to him.
