Dei jolted awake when she heard her phone ringing.  She stretched lazily and tried to grab her phone from the bed side table with eyes still closed.

She squinted her eyes to see who is calling and noted what time it is and groaned. Jay is calling at seven in the morning on a Sunday.

Don't get me wrong, she loves it when he's calling.  But a girl should get her sleep.  As they say, love always wins so she answered it.

Good morning, sunshine!

Babe, too early.

Hahahah. Gising ka na, babe. Breakfast tayo.

Ayaw. Sleep pa asdfklw

Ang cute mo talaga! Sige na, bangon na. You want me to wake you up?

Hmmm...

You want that, hmm?

Hmmm...

Hahaha.  Babe, c'mon! Get up na po.

Gigil na ako babe! Grrrr...
Akyat na ba ako diyan?  Gisingin kita, hmm?

She smiled upon hearing his teasing voice. Her mind is still muddled with sleep that she just realized what he just said.  Napabalikwas agad siya ng bangon.

Wait, what?  You're here?

Yes po, baby girl. Sabay na tayo kina Tito mag breakfast. Or maybe do you want to eat outside?

No, wag na. Dito na lang tayo. Wag masyadong magastos, okay?

Okay po. Baba ka na?

Just give me a few minutes.

Okay, babe. Laters. Love you.

She blushed with his last words as she ended the call without answering him back. Nakakaturete pa rin pala. She shook her head mentally and dragged herself in the bathroom and did her morning rituals.

She dressed extra careful knowing that Jay is downstairs waiting for her.  She faced her reflection in the mirror and smiled.

Ang sarap pala talaga ma-inlove.  Nakakaganda kahit bagong gising lang. Congrats, self!  Natatawang kausap niya sa sarili sa salamin.

Now, the boyfie awaits.

She has an extra bounce to her steps when she went down.  Halfway down the stairs, she saw Jay sitting on the sofa in the living room.  She paused and just stare at him for a while, admiring his presence.

He looked up when he sensed that somebody is watching.  He smiled when he saw her and stood up to meet her halfway.

She was taken aback when he suddenly caged her into his strong arms. Mas lalo yata siyang nabigla nang nagsalita ito malapit sa mukha niya.

Good morning, babe.

Tulala lang siya kahit na hindi na nakayakap sa kanya si Jay.  Natauhan lang siya nung makita itong nakangisi sa harap niya.

Kainis ka naman eh! Nakasimangot na sagot niya dito sabay hampas sa braso nito.

Aray naman.  Bago pa nga lang tayo mukhang battered boyfriend na ko ah.  Natatawang reklamo nito.

Bakit? Ayaw mo ba? Naghahamong tanong ko sa kanya.

Gusto!  Gustung-gusto, babe!  Kahit araw araw mo pa akong bugbugin, basta para sayo. Dali-daling sagot nito.

She tried to keep a straight face on his reaction.  Para talaga itong payb years old na anytime aagawan ng laruan.

Hindi naman kasi yon. Ayaw mo bang maging boyfriend ko?

It will be my honor, Miss Dei.  Always.

Kinilig naman ang marupok na puso niya sa sinagot nito sa tanong niya.

She tiptoed and gets her face closer to his.  She noticed his eyes widen with what she did. 

She looked him straight in the eyes for a few seconds then proceeded to get her lips close to his right ear and whispered.

Good morning to you too, boyfriend.

And she punctuated her sentence with a peck on the side of his mouth.

And then she took off with a wide smile on her face, leaving a shocked Jay behind.
