Thirty

I walk, well if you call from stumbling from side to side is walking then I am- walking back home. I couldn't remember where I left my car keys, and I couldn't be bothered anyway.

The bar was around the corner so walking doesn't seem like a bad idea. "We died and this is how you behaving?" I heard the familiar voice spoke, the one I've been yearning to hear ever since he left. I look up and frown, then look behind me. "I'm right here doofus."

I turn back around and jump back from the close proximity. I look him up and down, and rub my eyes not believing my eyes. "I think I drink too much," I muttered and look up at the sky before just taking a step right through him.

"It's nice seeing you too." The voice said again.

"I'm imagining you too?" I ask him, "If I am, I would have make you a lot more nicer."

He smirk, "Well it's all up to you to see me as your imagination or really a spirit to come give you a visit." He stated shrugging his shoulders.

I narrowed my eyes at him and continue walking back to the house, ignoring his presence. I'm not about to make a conversation with my imagination. Last I did, it never helps. She only put me in more stress. "Why are you doing this to yourself?" I heard the same Damien's voice ask as I feel him following me.

I furrowed my brows, "How does this spirit shit thing works?" I ask him instead. "Are you really walking? Or are you floating around?" I look down on his feet but I couldn't see clearly. My eyes are blurry and I honestly seeing double.

"God I'm so drunk," I muttered and sway slightly. I hold my head and went to sit on the sidewalk and reach for my phone and dial to what I hope is my sister's number. She answer at the third ring. "Hey can you pick me up? I'm too drunk to walk and I'm seeing Damien around me. He even talks to me."

The other line was quiet for a minute, I thought I didn't call anyone until I heard her take a sharp intake of breath. "Where are you?" She ask.

I crinkle my nose, not knowing exactly where I'm at. Last I checked, I'm right around the corner of the house but I thought wrong. "Hold on, I'll ask Damien." I told Louisa and look up at Damien's figure, "Do you have any idea where we were?"

He look around and shrug. I glare at him, "How helpful." He simply grin at me.

"Hey, I'll find you." Louisa's voice floated through the line, "Just stay where you are. Don't move." She told me sternly.

I snorted, "I don't even think I can move a muscle." I replied nonchalantly and laid back on the sidewalk looking up at the sky. "Damien don't want to leave me, would you want to speak with him?"

"I'll be there soon," Louisa assured me, ignoring whatever I just said and then hung up on me. I pull the phone away from my ear and glare at the blank screen before toss it away at my side.

He went to sit beside my body and raise his brows at me. I point my finger at him, "Once I wake up, you won't be here." I ordered him and close my eyes.
