Chapter 5
Drew's POV
As soon as you walked in the school building people were staring at you. You couldn't exactly blame them. I mean you looked awful. You pulled up the hood over your head and quickly made your way to your locker. You took the things you needed for your first class and went to the classroom. You tried to avoid making eye contact with anyone, because you didn't want people to ask you about what happened to your face.
Soon your teacher stepped into the classroom, and he looked at you with disgusts. "Mr.Mccann, take that hood of." You bit your lip, but did as you were told. When you took the hood off you revealed your face. Mr.Ackles looked at you, and his eyes widened. "What happened to you?" he asked. "Nothing." you whispered. People turned around, and examined your face. You just looked at your desk and didn't say anything for the rest of the class.
People stared at you at every class. They whispered about you and that drove you insane. They were already spreading rumors and different theories about how you got beaten up, and by who. You heard a rumor saying that you got beaten up by a senior because Justin broke his sisters heart. That was pure bullshit. Although it's true that Justin is a heartbreaker, he's a complete douchebag to be honest. But a senior would never beat you up for something stupid that your brother did. You heard many different rumors during the day, and it was actually quite interesting to hear the theories. Some of them were actually realistic, meanwhile some of them were just too crazy.
It was finally time for lunch and you sat down at the table you usually sit at. You looked around for Kylie but she was nowhere to be found. You sighed and continued to eat your lunch. It would've been nice to have someone to talk to, and Kylie was the only one willing to talk to you. All of a sudden you heard the sound of a tray hitting the table. You looked up and Kylie sat down next to you. "People are so stupid." she muttered. You looked confused at her. "What happened?" She pulled a strand of her hair behind her ear and looked directly into your eyes. "I told my friends I wanted to sit with you, and they told me I could go and sit there by myself, because they want nothing to do with you." she said frustrated. "It's fine Kylie." you said in a calm voice. "No it's not." she sighed. "What happened to your face?" she asked, and carefully touched your bruises with her fingertips. You twitched in pain and bit your lip. "Sorry." she mumbled. You just shook your head. "It's fine." you whispered. "But seriously what happened?" You sat quiet and considered telling her the truth. You figured that would be the best, and opened your mouth to tell her, when Justin came to your table. He was wearing sunglasses, so you couldn't see his eyes. And therefore you couldn't tell how much you two looked alike, and that you were actually siblings. "Hey Drew. Jason beat you up pretty bad last night huh? You deserved it." he said smirking, and softly slapped your cheek, making you groan in pain. He left the table with this friends, and they just laughed at you. Kylie looked after Justin's with her mouth slightly open. "Who's that douchebag?" she asked. You sighed and moisturized your lips with your tounge. "That's my brother." Kylie looked shocked at you. "Oh my god.. I'm so sorry I didn't mean to.." You cut her off by shaking your head. "It's fine. He's a real douchebag." you answered. Kylie just looked at you. "That idiot is your brother?" You nodded your head. "Yeah.." She raised her eyebrows. "Okay how is that even possible? I mean. You're a sweetheart and he's a douchebag." You laughed a little and shrugged your shoulders. "I don't know, and besides I have two more brothers." Kylie moved closer to you. "Tell me about your family."
