Chapter 24

Kylie's POV:

You got out of the car and tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear. "Have fun girls, Stella take care of my daughter will you?" your dad said, as Stella got out of the car. She chuckled and nodded her head. "I will Kevin, don't worry." Stella and your dad got along pretty well, even thought they only knew each other for a couple of hours.

After your shopping trip, Stella stayed at your house, to get ready. And being the over protective parent your father is, he started asking her shitloads of questions, basically interrogating her. And after what seemed like hours of never ending questions, she got his approval.

"Okay, so she's staying at your place tonight?" your dad asked. Stella nodded her head. "Yes sir." Your dad smiled at her. "Good, bye Stella, bye Kyls." and with that said he drove away. It was embarrassing that your dad drove you to the party, but you tried not to care about it. "Let's go inside." Stella said, leading you to the door. You could already hear the music blasting. "Have you been here before?" she asked, as she opened the door.

The music hit you as soon as the door opened. It was already crowded, and it would be hard to find any of the brothers in this crowd. You nodded your head. "Yeah, Drew took me here once." you said, slightly raising your voice. "Let's go find them." Stella said, and dragged you inside. You searched for them through the crowd, but it didn't take long, until both of you gave up. "Maybe they're in the backyard?" you suggested. "Why didn't I think of that?" She said, facepalming herself. She grabbed your hand and lead you to the backyard. There was plenty of people outside, but you could easily spot two of the brothers. Justin was standing by the barbecue, and Jason was standing by the music, but there was no sign of Derek or Drew. "Can you see Derek anywhere?" Stella asked. You shook your head, but then you spotted him. "There he is!" you said, pointing at him. Stella looked at the direction you pointed, and raised an eyebrow. "Kylie that's Drew." she said. You furrowed your eyebrows. And carefully examined him.

"No way, that's Derek!" you outburst. Stella shook her head. "Derek is taller than him. That's Drew.. But he cut his hair." You examined him again, and she was right. That was Drew, and as she said, he had cut his hair.

"Hey babe."

Stella turned around and Derek stood behind her, smiling widely. "Babe!" she outburst, and threw herself around his neck. He chuckled and hugged her tight. "You look gorgeous babe." he mumbled, before kissing her.

You just stood there, watching them. They were so perfect. And you envied their relationship. But not in the way that you were jealous, but in the way that you wanted a relationship like that. Although you were happy for them, because they really deserved each other. "Hey Kylie." Derek said, and pulled you into a hug. You weren't prepared for that, so a quiet "Oh." escaped your lips, and you hugged him back. "Hey." you mumbled and smiled at him. "You look beautiful." he said, smiling. You couldn't help but smile, and you felt your cheeks turning into a light shade of red. "Thank you." you said, blushing. He chuckled and hugged you again. "You're welcome Kyls."

Kyls? You raised and eyebrow, that's the nickname your dad gave you, and only him and Drew called you that. Derek smiled at your facial expression. "Drew calls you that all the time, sorry if I'm not allowed to call you that." he said, smiling. You shook your head. "No, no it's fine. I was just curios how you knew that was my nickname." you said, smiling at him. "As I said, Drew calls you that when he talks about you."

Your smile grew bigger. "He talks about me?" Derek nodded his head and chuckled. "If you only knew." he answered. The smile on your face was still there, and you felt so silly, but you really couldn't stop smiling.
