Chapter 27

Drew's POV:

"So, tell me a little about yourself, Drew." Mr. Walker said.

Mr. Walker, was Kylie's dad. You've been dating Kylie for two weeks now, and he wanted to spend some 'alone time' with you. Honestly, you were kinda terrified. I mean if you fucked things up with her dad, you're screwed. Calm down Drew, you're gonna set yourself on fire if you keep over thinking it all. You looked over at him, as he drove. "What do you wanna know sir?" You asked, and moisturized your lips.

"Interests?"

You closed your eyes and tried to think of something that sounded decent. "I like playing basketball." You started. "Oh so you're playing for the school team?" You shook your head. "No sir, I just play on my spare time." He nodded his head. "I see. You know Kylie and I are big Lakers fans." he said. You smiled and nodded your head. "I'm well aware." you answered, as you remember that night you went to a game. And Kylie had seen you on tv. "So what else?" he asked, as your answer wasn't good enough for him. "I uhm." you started. He raised his eyebrows as 'uhm' left your lips.

Fuck.

"I sometimes write. Mostly song lyrics. I just take what's in my head, put it down on paper and find some melody to it." You said. A small smile appeared on his face. "That's interesting boy." You sighed in relive. "Thank you sir."

"So have you ever been golfing?" He asked, as he handed you a golf bag. "Yes sir. My grandad is very into golf." You explained. Your grandparents were a bit more 'fancy' than you were. And they always tried to 'fix you' by trying to involve you and your brothers in their interest. "Good. I expect you to be acceptable." he said, and chuckled. "I won't disappoint you sir." He examined you and smiled a little. "You're actually quite fancy dressed. I'm impressed." he mumbled, and smiled. "Thank you sir." you mumbled. "Anytime Drew."

"So tell me why you deserve my little girl." He said, before he swung the golf club. He hit the ball, with a 'knock' and the ball 'flew' away. "Sir, believe me. I will treat her like my queen." He chuckled as he watched the ball. "You better, because she's my little princess." You nodded your head. "I will, trust me." He turned around, so he was facing you. "Do you consider yourself a good boyfriend?" Did you?

"Yes. I promise I'll do anything to make Kylie happy. Even if it means I have to sacrifice things for it. I'll put her first. I'll do anything to protect her. And I won't let anyone hurt her."

Mr.Walker lit up in a smile. He chuckled and fixed his cap.

"Welcome to the family Drew." he said, and held out his hand. You shook his and and smiled. "Thank you sir." He shook his head. "Nah-ah. Now that we're family. Call me Kevin." You nodded your head. "Got it, Kevin."

"What did he say? Did he interrogate you? Was he being mean?" Kylie kept throwing questions at you as you got into the hallway. She had been there with Derek and Stella, while you were gone. "No, babe don't worry, your dad didn't do anything you wouldn't want him to do." you answered. "Now come here and give me a kiss." She looked at you and smiled. "What if I don't want to?" she asked, with a teasing smirk on her face. "Kylie, baby you don't have a choice." you said, and walked towards her. You wrapped your arms around her waist and pulled her close. "I missed you." you mumbled, and kissed her. You could feel her smile against your lips. "Drew your were only gone for like three hours." You chuckled and kissed her forehead. "Can't a guy miss his girlfriend?"

Girlfriend. You loved how the word sounded, when it left your lips. It's like you could say it all day. She was yours. "You're mine." you whispered. Kylie smiled and stood on her tippy toes. She put her arms around your neck, and kissed you. "All yours." she whispered.
