Chapter 29

Kylie's POV:

"You're perfect." you mumbled, and looked into Drew's hazel eyes.

He chuckled and shook his head. "I'm all flaws babe. But our flaws is what makes us, us." he said, smiling. "Now let's go downstairs."

He grabbed your hand and gave it a kiss, before leading you out of the room.

You walked downstairs and found your dad, Derek and Stella sitting at the breakfast table. A huge breakfast was set at the table, with the cake in the middle of it all.

"Happy birthday Kyls!" your dad said happily. You let go of Drew and quickly walked over to your dad. Without thinking, you threw yourself around his neck. Ever since Drew came into your life, your life had changed, for the better. Your dad and him got along quite well. Your dad loved, and I really mean loved Stella. He saw her as an older sister to you.

Drinking wasn't a big problem anymore, and the beating had stopped. I guess se became happy, when he saw you happy. That makes sense, doesn't it? "You gotta stop growing baby girl." He said, and hugged you tight. "Don't worry dad, I'll always be your baby girl." you assured him. "Yeah, that sounds good." he mumbled, and let go of you. "Now let's eat. I'm dying to get a piece of that cake." your dad said, while taking a seat. "Who made it?"

"We did!" Stella said proudly. Drew chuckled and nodded his head. "Yes, Stella and I made it last night."

You took a closer look at the cake. "Who wrote the text?" you asked, and Drew shyly raised his hand. "Excuse my writing but it was really hard writing what that jello thing."

You could see it in font of you. Stella had made a gorgeous cake, and then Drew comes in and goes "I wanna help!", ends up writing the text, and doing it really bad. You couldn't help but smile. "It doesn't matter, I love it."

"So, I still haven't given you my gift yet." your dad said, and smiled. You raised your eyebrows. "Dad.." you started. He shook his head. "Oh no, there's no way you'll get out of this sweetheart." he said. "So here's the deal. I'm sending you two out on a dinner, and I've rented a hotel room for you guys, to spend the night."

Who's idea was this? And as if he just read your mind, your dad answered your question.

"Drew and I planned this a while ago." he said smiling.

"Are you really letting me do that dad?" you asked, and raised your eyebrows. "It's your birthday Kylie. It's special." he answered. "So it's up to you if you wanna stay here and he'll pick you up, or if you wanna go over there." your dad said. "I've got somethings I need to pick up at Drew's place, but after that I'll come home and spend some time with you, before we leave."

Your dad had a pleased expression. "Okay."

"I'll drive her to our place, and I'll give her a ride home. And then I'll pick you up later." Your dad nodded his head. "Yeah that sounds good."

"Can we eat the cake now?" Stella begged. "I've been looking at this cake ever since we made it." she said and laughed. You nodded your head. Oh Stella. "Of course." She stood up and looked for something to cut it with. "It's in the top draw." your dad said. The sound of a drawer being pulled out, filled the kitchen. And soon you heard noises from all the things in it. "Found it!" Stella said proudly, with the knife in her hand.

"But, it's your birthday. So you'll have the first piece."

That's typical birthday traditions. "Okay, let me cut it." you said. Stella pulled the knife away. "As if birthday girl." she said. "How much do you want?" You showed her and she cut a perfect piece of the cake. "May I have your plate please?" she said, in a very proper tone. You handed her your plate and she carefully put the piece of cake on it. "Looks like your getting married." she said, since the cake didn't fall on its side. You rolled your eyes and looked at Drew. "I don't think so Stella." She then cut a piece for Drew, but unfortunately it fell over. "Woops, looks like you're not getting married." she chuckled.
