" Is mom gonna marry that man?" Jennifer asked once I had shut the door and we were outside.

I let go of her hand.

" Not if I can help it." I said.

" What are you gonna do?" she asked me.

" I have a plan after we hang out at the park for a while we can get dad to take us to the mall." I said.

" What are we gonna do at the mall?" Jennifer asked.

" You will see then." I said and I pulled my cell phone out of my pocket.

"Are you calling Daniel?" Jennifer asked.

"No. I am calling dad." I said

I waited for my phone to come on and then dialed dad's number.

He answered on the second ring.

"Hey darling how are you and your sister doing?" dad said.

"We are okay. We are going to the park. Can you meet us there please?" I asked.

"Sure sweetie. See yall in a few." he said and hung up.

"So have you talked to Jeremy lately?" I asked Jennifer and hung up the phone.

"No. Family comes first." she said.

"Hey sis I made a decision not to talk to my boyfriend for a little while but that doesn't mean you can't talk to your best friend if you want to." I said.

"Really?" she asked.

"Yes really. Here you can call him and ask if he wants to hang out later." I said and handed her my cell phone.

She quickly dialed Jeremy's house number and squeezed when he answered.

"Hey wanna hang out later? I miss you!" she exclaimed.

"I'd love to. See you in a bit!" I heard Jeremy pratically screamed.

"That's my ear Jerry." said Jennifer laughing.

I smiled watching how happy she was.

" But yeah see you soon. Bye!" said Jennifer.

" Love...See ya." said Jeremy again loud enough for me to hear and then he hung up.

Jennifer hung up my phone and handed it to me.

I slipped it into my pocked and jumped up and down a little.

"Why are you acting like a kangeroo?" Jennifer asked me.

I laughed.

"He almost said I love you to you!" I exclaimed.

"Yeah right. You're hearing things because you want us together so bad." said Jennifer.

"First off I know what I heard and second you wanna be with him you alkready told me that so stop denying it." I said.

Jennifer laughed.

"Believe whatever." she said.

I laughed and put my arm around her.

"He said love and then stopped he was gonna say love you." I said.

"So he could say love you as a friend it's not like he never has before." said Jennifer.

"He said he loved you before?" I asked pulling her closer.

She pushed away from me and laughed.

"He wrote it actually. I mean just check all my birthday cards." said Jennifer.

"Awwwwww." I said.

"Shut up!" She exclaimed and pushed me playfully.

I laughed.

By now we had reached the park.

"Hey girls." I head dad say.

I turned around and saw dad.

Jennifer had already taken off and he was hugging her.

I ran over and Jennifer pulled back and I hugged dad.

"Hey dad I was thinking that after all of us hang out for a bit that you could drop me off at the mall for a bit so you and Jennifer could spend some time together without me and maybe Jeremy could join yall." I said smiling at Jennifer when I said the last part.

Jennifer rolled her eyes.

"Sure sweetie." said dad."

"Okay awesome!" I exclaimed and we all went to the swings.
