"What?" I all but screamed at him.

He opened the little red velvet box and inside was a diamond bracelet.

"Don't scare me like that." I said hitting him.

He laughed.

"How did you get this money? From Daniel?" Jennifer asked.

She was giving him a harder time than me.

"Yes but..." she cut him off.

"I don't want anything you buy with that money." she said pushing the box away.

Jeremy looked hurt and closed the box and dropped it on the floor.

"You know you haven't even told Sade you are sorry." said Jennifer putting a hand on her hip.

"I am sorry Daniel is such a jerk." said Jeremy.

"You idiot. You are working for him." Jennifer screamed.

Jeremy's mom ran downstairs and look at me.

"What is going on?" she asked me.

"Either you tell her or I will." said jennifer putting her other hand on her hip.

Jeremy sighed.

"Jeremy what's going on?" his mom asked him.

Jeremy explained and his mom's mouth dropped open.

"I can't believe you did that! You are giving Daniel that money back." Jeremy's mom said.

Jeremy hung his head but nodded.

"We are heading to Daniel's now if you want him to come with us and give the money back." I said to her.

She nodded.

"Yes that sound good. But..." she stopped and pulled me aside.

"Please don't make too big a scene in front of Jeremy. Maybe he shouldn't go with yall right now. I am sure your ticked at Daniel." his mom said.

"Actually I probably won't be mad til I reach his house. I have been upset." I said.

She nodded understandingly.

"Oh by the way Jeremy bought my sister a diamond bracelet with that money Daniel gave him. Jen won't take it unless I say it's okay. I really want her to have it. It's not like jeremy knew all of this was gonna happen from giving Daniel a few videos and pictures." I said.

"You don't seem too upset with Jeremy. Why is that?" his mom asked me.

"Well he made a mistake. Everyone does." I took off my wig and showed her my hair to prove it.

She smiled at me.

"I shouldn't have died my hair purple to get my parents attention so they would talk and hopefully get back together. I also shouldn't have yelled at my mom. Not only was I messing myself up but I was a bad rolemodel for Jen." I said and put the wig back on.

"That reminds me I gotta dye my hair back to it's natural color. I keep forgetting to." I said.

Jeremy's mom laughed.

"Wait did you say Jeremy bought Jen a diamond bracelet?" jeremy's mom asked.

Wow that was a delayed reaction.

"Yes." I said and nodded.

"Oh my. I didn't think he would ever get her such a serious gift. they are kids." she said.

"As long as it isn't a ring I don't care. Jen can have the bracelet if she wants it." i said.

"Well Jeremy is gonna have to find another way to make the money to get it because he is gonna return the bracelet and get his money back and give it back to daniel." his mom said.

I nodded understandingly.

"He can come with us. I promise I won't get violent or cuss." I said.

She nodded.

"Oh wait the bracelet wasn't returned." I said.

"Oh yeah you're right. Well we can all ride in my car to the store and to Daniel's." she said.

Now I deffinently had to be on my best behavior at Daniel's.

I nodded and went into the den.

Jeremy was trying to talk to jennifer but she was ignoring him.

"Sis forgive him. I did." I said.

She looked at me shocked.

"We are going to return the bracelet and go to Daniel's now." said Jeremy's mom and she headed to the front door.

I heard her jingle her keys now.

"Let's hit the road you guys." she said and we left.
