Chapter Sixteen
Once up the stairs Jennifer and I went into my room.
"I think you made things worse." said Jennifer.
I shrugged.
"Things get worse before they get better." I said.
Jennifer sighed.
"I'm going to the store. Do you wanna go?" I asked Jennifer.
"No that's okay. See you when you get back." said Jennifer.
That was weird Jennifer always liked to go off with me.
"You sure?" I asked her.
She nodded.
"Yeah Jeremy will probably come over sometime today and I don't wanna miss him." said Jennifer
"Uh you do know he lives right next door and he could come back or you could go over there...right?" I asked her.
"Duh but I am not gonna act desperate about seeing him." said Jennifer.
"Uh-huh well that explains why your are gonna wait around the house for him to come over." I said.
"Good point. Let's go." said Jennifer.
I hooked my arm with hers and we rand downstairs.
"We're going to the store." I shouted over my shoulder.
We then opened the door and started walking.
