So I was showing two of my friends the Newsies movie and we got to the scene where Katherine's secret is revealed.
And one of my friends just froze and gasped, then whispered, "Oh my god."
While the other actually got out of the bed and stormed out of the room while screaming.
And then the kissing scenes.
Both of them squealed, but one actually started crying out of joy.
And then Letter From The Refuge.
They both started crying really heavily.
But just imagine me in between them holding the laptop, trying not to spoil anything and holding back laughs as Katherine's secret is revealed.
One of my friends had watched the 1992 Newsies movie beforehand, and even said she liked the musical better. The other friend—who's never listened to musicals before—said that she may start listening to some musicals now that she's watched Newsies.
I'm honestly really happy right now.
