dear new fansies,
as a member of the newsies fandom before the Broadway musical movie was even released, I have a few things to tell you
you are always welcome in this fandom, but this fandom is special; it's different
in this fandom, we are respectful. there is no drama; there is no hate.
although we love this musical, we do net let it corrupt us
this fandom is not like the Hamilton fandom or the Dear Evan Hansen fandom. perhaps not even like the Great Comet fandom.
this fandom knows where the barriers are
this fandom asks that these new fansies are respectful to the way this fandom is and does not try to change it.
this fandom is perfect the way it is
so dear new fansies,
please don't corrupt our fandom
