hands down the most beautiful and sentimental show i have ever watched
season two was so remarkably good. i'm at a loss for words.
i'm going to get a little serious here so just sit back and tolerate me for a moment or two
everything about season two just opened my eyes
it made me realize the hate that's in this world, and it made me realize the hatred i've given people
it made me realize that people are still people, and being different isn't something a person can control
and it made me realize that i shouldn't be ashamed in my individuality too
even with sticking to the classic story of anne of green gables, it provides a whole new perspective. in a way, it's much darker than the original, but it's also much more contemporary. it provides a view to the past by connecting it to the present, and shows how certain people back then would still be prejudiced against today.
i don't tend to get sentimental and sappy often, but this show truly deserves every ounce of love it can receive. i fell in love with season one, but season two has only enhanced my love for the show. multiple messages have been wound up into one big theme, and i think it's safe to say that it's an eye-opening show.
the acting and storyline tied together only makes the show that much greater. i recommend it to anyone looking for both a source of entertainment and an emotional rollercoaster.
that's all goodnight
