knock some sense into me

hi this is officially my promise to study and work extra hard for my remaining two years of high school in order to raise my gpa so i can get into columbia university

i've improved a lot recently, and i made a 32 on my last act, so i definitely think i'm learning more and getting better

but today, i had a bit of self-realization in more than one way

but for now, i'll just say i've decided columbia university is the college i want to go to

as an incoming junior, i'd say i'm ahead of the game. i'm in the bottom half of the average act score columbia admittees have, but my worries are about my gpa

i made a b this past year. only one b, but i'm worried that my 87 is going to keep me from getting into columbia

so

this story part is me taking an oath

i, snyderthespider, am going to work extra hard during my junior and senior years of high school in order to make at least a 4.0 gpa, make a 34 on the act, and participate in as many extracurriculars as possible

if i ever start complaining about school, please remind me about my oath
