Saturday, October 21st, 7:30 am
"Moving day! Let's go, guys! Move, move, move!" Hannah yelled as Kelly, Stella, Gabby, and Matt moved Stella's belongings; she was finally moving in with Kelly and Hannah.
"Why don't you go help Mom and Gabby pack clothes?" Kelly suggested as he and Matt carried a shelf out.
"If I do that, who's going to supervise?" Hannah asked dramatically.
"Watch the sass, girly." Matt teased before running into the doorway and hitting his head. "Ouch."
"I'll watch the sass if you watch where you're going." Hannah told him.
11:30 am
"Only took 4 hours, but it's done! I officially live with my fiancé and my daughter. That's right, I got the documents and Hannah, I am officially your mother!" Stella announced.
"Yay! This is fantastic!" Hannah yelled as she jumped into Stella's arms.
"I think you two should have a
Mother-Daughter Date." Kelly suggested."Yes! We can go to the spa and get our nails done and get massages!" Hannah said.
"Yeah? Let's do it!" Stella agreed.
"You two can go now, we can finish getting everything put away here." Gabby assured them.
"Great, thanks guys. Come on, Hannah."
And so the two went to the spa. They got massages and had their nails done and ate fancy food while Kelly, Matt, and Gabby worked to get stuff organized.
"Where do you want this bookshelf?" Gabby asked Kelly.
"I have no idea. See if it'll fit in the office." Kelly called from where he and Matt were trying to rearrange the living room to fit all the furniture.
Finally, they succeeded in reorganizing the house and they ordered a pizza. As they ate, they chatted.
"I'm happy for you two. I haven't seen Stella this happy in quite awhile. Or you, for that matter." Gabby told Kelly.
"She is amazing, in every way possible. I'm really glad Hannah loves her. That was my biggest concern when I started dating." Kelly said.
"Oh, Hannah adores Stella. She was telling me the other day about how great she was." Matt commented.
"Yeah. I'm glad they got a day together today. I hope they're having fun."
-/:-/:
"Was that fun or what?" Stella told Hannah as they left the spa.
"It was great! Especially the massage; it was hard work supervising you people today." Hannah teased. The two of them laughed.
"I still need a wedding dress. Should you and I go dress shopping?"
"Yes!!"
5:30 pm, Severide house
"We're back!" Hannah called as she and Stella walked into the house.
"You two have been gone for hours, what did you do?" Kelly asked them from where he was putting books on the bookshelf in the office.
"We might've gone dress shopping and I might've found and bought my wedding dress." Stella said.
"Really?"
"Yep. I'll get it next week; it had to be altered a little. But, it only costed $1,500, which was $500 below my budget."
"Great! And the invitations are done and ready to be sent out. I wrote out the addresses and all I gotta do is drop 'em at the post office on the way to work tomorrow." Kelly informed her.
"New Years' Eve, at Molly's, at 4:30, right?" Stella double-checked.
"Yep."
"By the way, I also got a fancy flower girl dress!" Hannah informed Kelly, who looked at Stella with his eyebrows raised.
"I said my dress was $500 under budget." Stella defended.
Kelly laughed. "It doesn't matter, as long as you two are happy."
