Chapter 10

Chapter 10:

Harry searched for keys in the engine but couldn't find any.

"This car must have been driving with magic," He said pulling back, making sure to avoid touching Lightwood in the process.

Ron lifted himself up,"Okay I'll go place the charm on the outside."

Harry nodded.

Ron pulled himself out of the hole, finding it considerably more difficult than jumping inside.

"Oi mate you know you could've just gone through the door," Harry popped the door open.

Ron mumbled something under his breath that Harry couldn't make out but he thought he heard "bloody" somewhere in the mix.

Harry heard the sound of Ron's feet hit the ground. Suddenly the enjoined roared to life.

Ron jumped back in a minute later. "So where to?"

"Don't worry I know a place", Harry said.

They drove and drove for at least an hour until they arrived at a dumpster in an abandoned ally.

"Why are we here?" Ron asked.

"Just follow me," Harry said.

He lifted himself out of the car and jumped to the dump.

Ron followed after him.

"Please don't tell me we are jumping in there," he asked, his nose crinkling.

Harry jumped in and searched.

Ron grunted and followed after him.

"Harry one of these days..." but he didn't finish his blind threat.

"Here!" Harry exclaimed.

He pulled out a large shovel.

"What is that?" Ron asked staring at it.

"It's going to help us dispose of Lightman's body," Harry replied as if that were obvious.

Ron just shrugged clearly disgusted. "Okay you got it now let's go. It smells gross in here."

Ron jumped out with Harry following after him.

They started the car and turned onto the street.

"Now where to," Ron asked.

"Now we burry," Harry said staring directly at the road.

Ron sighed and sat back and watched the road. Finally Harry turned to a dark hill with a tree on the top of it.

"Here," he said and jumped out of the car.

Ron followed pulling Lightman up from the passenger seat. His body slumped against Ron as he struggled to pull him up the hill. Harry went to help him.

After what felt like forever they reached the highest point in which Harry began digging. He dug and dug until he could have hit the earth then he lifted himself out of the whole. Ron and him then lowered the body in. They began shoveling dirt back on top of the hole, making sure to cover up the hole completely.

They stared at the hole silently for a moment as if they still couldn't believe everything was happening to them.

"Never in my life did I see myself burying a dead body on a hill," Ron said shaking his head as they descended back down the hill to the car.

They reached the car and Harry and Ron entered, both of them feeling slightly put off.

"Just remember no one can know we just did that. Not even Hermione," Harry said finally, turning to Ron.

Ron hesitated but eventually nodded in agreement.

Then the magic kicked in and they went on driving.
